Please Tom, listen carefully...I know you have to change the format of your videos from time to time to keep up with the everchanging WAVE...but...please...think carefully about those changes in the future. This structure you have nowadays is so near to perfection. Specially those AMAZING solos at the end of the videos. You don´t have an idea of how much it affects me when the BT-wizard (not you!!) I´m trying to like starts with a lightinig solo to show off his licks...It totally ruins the improvisation-mood for me. On the other hand, your approach is so inviting to play...You let me start with my own voice and feelings and by the time I get to your solo I already have something to share. And then your SOLO and the proof oh how much room you leave in your backing tracks for all sorts of approachs and different ways to get to the summit. I Absolutely LOVE what you do for us, eternal students in this neverending story of learning to play the guitar. A HUG and the deepest respect from Bilbao, Spain. If you ever come closer to my town, let me know you. You won´t regret my man, I know some serious restaurants. In the meantime, good luck and better health for you and all your loved ones.

I just call that Eb scale
uhh... Eb -is- the parent, or Ionian scale that Cm, or the Aeolian scale is built from - C being the 6th in Eb. In C Aeolian mode, the Eb produces a minor 3rd, which helps create the minor movement. If it were CMaj, the Eb would be raised to a Maj 3rd, or E natural. Since this arrangement lacks an Eb chord, it would get awkward to start or end your key of Cm phrases on Eb. So to summarize, Eb Maj and Cm share the exact same notes, but the strong tonal qualities of their respective roots, 4ths and 5ths change.
