There's something weirdly satisfying about 70s-80s anime/mecha/tokusatsu/kaiju theme songs...that funky blend of adult voice and children's choir...like an old marching song from WW2-era Japan...but in a wholesome, non-aggressive way... 😅😅😅😅😅
I started to watch Ultraman series. And dude, why they had to take away Yuko Minami. THe fact the a man and a woman had to combine was a very cool concept.
They removed Minami from the show because the idea of a woman being an Ultraman host was immensely unpopular with viewers at the time. Plus, the writers found it difficult to have two hosts at once while giving them separate storylines.
ace is very unique amongst all ultras , hes the only one that needs two(boy and girl) people to transform , unfortunely minami died and left hokuto to continue the henshin alone
if your talking about yuko, she's actually alive though trapped in the moon, and in ultraman Z there's an Ace special episode in where both are once again reunited. and in the manga ultraman she is ace's love interest.

I think the scene in Ace that freaked me out the most was when he battled Metron Jr. and ended the fight by using an Ultra Guilltoine to slice the latter vertically in half right down the middle, with Metron's innards and bodily fluids spilling out in the process.
