I so appreciate the fact she has boot camp and four years of military duty. This bodes well. If someone is going to be commander-in-chief of any random military, they need a solid foundation in precisely what that means. Respect to The Royal Family of Spain from Arizona, USA

If you look at US presidents over the years since our founding, at one point or another most of them have put in their military service when they were younger. Clinton, obama, and Trump are exceptions
That is a lot of responsibility to feel on one’s shoulders, going through military service knowing the expectations of everyone in your performance because you and they all know you’re going to be the leader some day. I’ve been in the army 12 years and and an officer for 3, and it’s a lot of responsibility and pressure just as a young LT. May she do well and make her father proud and do right by her people and country

I think you don't quite get what "boot camp" is, She is basically going to a military academy not boot camp.
I noticed that too. Why would the queen need to know how to do a pushup? She is learning international policy and procedures for leading the military not yelling and running around in the mud .
@@kathrinjohnson2582every military leader should have an understanding of what they are going to be putting their troops through. If all politicians had to do ‘boot camp’ then war may not be as common as it is.
You think they just have a separate school that trains officers who haven't been to basic? That's not how that works in first world countries. Those leaders need to understand what their men have been through to be effective. Every single general in the United States in the last 100 years went through a form of basic training.

She's not in a "4 year bootcamp" as the caption says. It sounds more like she's going through their military training academy, which is like Sandhurst or West Point. NOBODY needs 4 years of boot camp.

Shes going to the army version of westpoint then going onto the navys then the air forces and then 1 year service in a branch of her choosing.
It's called the Serano Centre. It's also where they cure the nations Jamon. The course will be part military strategy and part ham curring. She will also take charge of the nation's ham when she ascends to the throne.
As somebody who is going to be commander in chief of the armed forces I’d say doing military service is essential

That’s awesome that she is going through military training first. Almost like American presidents should also have to have served for some period in order to be the commander and chief.
It helps, but the President has many advisors to help present him with options. Some of our best Presidents have NOT served.
Being a US President is not a lifetime of being the Commander in Chief like being the Spanish Queen.

If you have the power to directly send men and women into any conflict then you need to have the experience and training to understand what you’re doing. It should be a requirement not an option, doesn’t matter if it’s not a “lifetime” appointment.
Bootcamps dont last 4 years, they last a few weeks, shes going to a millitary academy there is a huge difference.

I never knew anyone else with the name Leonor. I have it as a middle name and so does my mom. That was my great grandma’s first name and my Abuela decided to give it to my mom and then my mom to me. It’s a very beautiful name. I hope to keep the tradition alive.

My family we are of European descent We are half Spaniard and half Italian.. And I must say we are absolutely proud of Leonora will make her people proud When I see her it even makes me proud.. My siblings I went to visit the hometowns in Spain of our relatives who are still alive though very old.. and some that are in Italy as well Bravo Bravo to you your future as queen of Spain

She is a currently a cadet in the Army and is doing the same training as her peers, and when she finishes her military training, naval academy training and air force training she will be a lieutenant in the Army and air force and an ensign in the navy, and when she ascends the throne she will become the commander in chief of all three forces.
