- Ahoy my friends! Today I am going to show you a strategy for taking out Dyne that makes him MUCH easier, so much so that in a sense it is a hack, even though it is just a natural element of the gameplay! I went from struggling pretty hard on this boss to beating him with the worst RNG luck you could imagine literally in a matter of tries. Hope this helps you guys to get the clear!

Very nice. Barret's new costume and limit break were very helpful here. I was not as high with my physical attack but it was enough thanks to the extra damage from Satellite Beam. I traded guard stick and assault gun for centipede and lefko kypseli for the extra buff time which freed up ATB too. Got it on my second try with better bio luck. My party power was about 63,000.

thank you, i followed your set-up and it worked for me even with only OB2 heavy hauser and OB2 w-machine. after a couple failed tries i swapped out a PATK sub-weapon for more PDEF and that did the trick.

Barrett new weapon was made for this fight, poison is a must. I think had darkness as my heal, but in the end, not needed. I had regular healing but weak potential that it cost me a lot of ATB to heal. Like 1k a pop. Needed more but I won. GL. His banner gear/weapon ups his defensives
Yeah his new costume definitely makes this easier, but it is most certainly not necessary to win it.

Im not 100% sure where to get Bio specifically but it is either in the later First Soldier Quests, the later FF7 story quests, or by clearing one of the Crisis Dungeons on Normal? Maybe the Grastia Path?
