I live in Herriman, our community events have been vastly underfunded and undersized for the size Herriman is now.
Herriman is very conservative, not necessarily friendly. If you are Mormon and love AR15s you’ll love it. And You will also run into polygamist families but they don’t like outsiders.
The outdoor areas are not well maintained but beautiful. You can’t get across ButterField canyon into middle field canyon anymore, The road was washed out and never repaired 😢.
We do have a dog park and a skate park.
The town really hasn’t caught up with the massive population boom.
If you are by Herriman HighSchool you will get a lovely wafting smell from the dump, it’s right over by there. It also smells like cows most of the time.

Oh we get fires but most are man made, usually target shooting or fireworks or open fires in the dry grass 😭

Conservatives and Mormons are bad people? Is that your position?

@@Pilotty they aren’t friendly to outsiders. That’s my position and very much my experience. Mormon neighbors only help their Mormon neighbors.

@@slconley give me a break.. I'm a mormon... my neighbors are not.. remember the massive snow storms we had? While my non mormon neighbors were at the rose bowl in Pasadena, I went and shoveled their driveways for them so they'd be clear when they returned. There are countless examples of "mormons" reaching out and helping people around them. You must be bitter with the church for some reason, and it slants your perspective. Utah is constantly voted as one of the most friendly states in the country year after year.. so stop with the pettiness.
