I am 76 (yoa) & live in Florida & have been through Utah 3 different times on a motorcycle - have been to all the N.P.'s, Valley of the Gods, Mokey Dugway & some scenic drives but I see from your video that I have missed a few things thus I will be coming back out there this September - again on a motorcycle but this one will be off road capable & I am blaming you for this 🙂- I was looking to plan another trip & this great video did the trick - thus allow me to say THANK YOU!
Another wonderful and informational video. Heading to Utah for the first time in a few weeks, so looking forward to seeing your beautiful state. A Part 2 would be wonderful!
Yes, part two please. Don't forget about the short but scenic Potash Road near Arches. Also, close by highway 128 is one of the most scenic drives in the world.
I've always enjoyed the drive up the Moki Dugway all the way through Capitol Reef NP. At the top of the dugway, take the 5 mile dirt road out to Muley's Point. I once stopped at the Hite Overlook and a German motorcyclist got off his bike, looked at me, and said "WOW, what a ride!" I told him, "Yes, and there's more.
Loved the video. I vote for Part 2. I also appreciate it when people who make videos like this add a date to the drives, so, for example, I would know when to best see fall colors.
This is your best Utah video!👏👏👏It makes me want to go right this minute! It would be so cool to have time to see all of that. You guys are very fortunate to live there. Thank you for another great video!🙏
Oh we love Utah so much! Yes would love a part two. Have y’all ever dug for geodes at Dugway? If yes, could you cover it a little? We will definitely be back and look for geodes when we do!
Love this! Great job. Buckhorn Wash is a great adventure, particularly trying to find the dinosaur track. And Canyonlands is just amazing! We drove the Shafer Trail switchbacks and Potash road to Moab. Great video!
Love, love, love this! I've only done the Zion drive (and can attest to the "all traffic stop" for the RVs 😂). I'm looking forward to visiting Utah again and seeing some of its other gems. Thanks!!
Yes we need a part 2 and probably a part 3 for this fantastic state. I'm driving thru and stopping at a couple of places this year and looks like I need to plan another much longer trip thru Utah next year. Thanks for showing us some great places that are not the Big 5.
Great list, I did 5 of these roads during my 2 visits in Utah. Scenic Byway 12 is my favorite. Buckhorn Wash and the little grand canyon was on top on my list but I couldn't make it to to time and weather constraints. Another reason to come back to the US 🙂 I would add the Alpine Loop and Highway 95 between Hanksville and Blanding to the list, as well as Moki Dugway and Valley of the gods. Safe travels
pressed the wrong key (that's what old people do at times) - I was wanting to go west again this September & seeing your outstanding video has got the wheels turning - thus allow me to say THANK YOU.
If I remember correctly from decades ago of driving to Canyonlands' Needles District, it was only around 75 miles from Moab. This was beautiful, and I've driven to all of the national parks there, but missed many on this list. Thanks.
For the truly adventurous looking for real solitude and grand desert views, I'd suggest the Lucin to Wendover road on the west side of the Salt Flats. Actually just about any of the roads that roughly follow the Utah-Nevada line would fit this bill.
Love the channel..!! Would you say doing the Burr Trail switchbacks would be less scary going down than up?? Lol.. We will be driving the same route as you guys but I would go backwards to make the switchbacks less scary for my wife if that would help.. TIA
Usually driving down a steep hill with narrow turns is more dangerous down than up for the simple reason that gravity will accelerate you going downhill. If you're nervous, I would drive up the switchbacks.
Once I visited Utah with my son. On day three he started the day with a "no more canyons please" If you make a part 2, you should include UT 28 from Moab east along the Colorado River
@gumbyboy15 oh, I didn't know. I've only been there once and I only saw the main rock panel which only consisted of pictographs (as far as I could tell) maybe I missed the petroglyphs

You won’t regret the trip! Check out Hell’s Backbone while in Escalante & near Hogback. ‘Interesting’ ride. 😂
Definitely worth a part 2 please
9:48 I didn't know that! Love to drive and glad you discovered and shared Scenic byway classifications! THANK YOU!!
Happy to help!
Another wonderful and informational video. Heading to Utah for the first time in a few weeks, so looking forward to seeing your beautiful state. A Part 2 would be wonderful!
Have fun!
Yes please!! Part 2 video would be great! Always love your beautiful and informative videos! Ty!
One of your best vids. Thanks!
Wonderful!!! I LOVE 12 byway, great drive in a convertible!
Awesome video! Would love more scenic drive videos!
Its super helpful that you show the spots on the maps and also the routes as google maps screenshots. This helped me plan my trip, thanks partner

Fantastic video! I like your relaxed narration style. I find it very soothing.

No we haven't. Sorry we don't have information on that. Thanks for watching.
Really enjoyed this one…but I enjoy them all and have used them for trip planning. A part 2 would be wonderful. Keep up the great work.
Glad you enjoyed it!

Thanks so much. Glad we could help inspire you some more. Have a great time.

You're welcome.
Great video! Highway 12 is spectacular and my favorite. My other favorite Utah 128 from I-70 to Moab didn't make your list. :(
Next time!
I would love part 2. Maybe include the wild mustangs please. Headed that way in a few weeks❤
Alpine Loop, Provo Canyon, American Fork Canyon, Hobble Creek Canyon,Big and Little Cottonwood Canyons
Those are some great drives too!

Capital reef is our last of the mighty 5 and we're from Nebraska.. What an amazing state you live in👍..
Usually driving down a steep hill with narrow turns is more dangerous down than up for the simple reason that gravity will accelerate you going downhill. If you're nervous, I would drive up the switchbacks.
ADD SILVER ISLAND LOOP NEAR BONNEVILLE SALT FLATS..GREAT VIDEO..
Great idea! Thanks for the suggestion.
Once I visited Utah with my son. On day three he started the day with a "no more canyons please" If you make a part 2, you should include UT 28 from Moab east along the Colorado River
Great suggestion
128
What time off year did you go to this beautiful utah drives?
The drives were not all done at the same time. They varied.
Would you do a part 2 going thru craters of the moon utah
Great suggestion!
Isn’t that Idaho?
I'd add Schafer Basin / Potash Rd
👍 Thanks for watching.
I wish all of these were accessible by electric car. A part 2 would be nice!
The Musi c drowning out your voice again. Disappointing.
Sorry about that.
Buckhorn Wash has Pictographs which are painted onto the rock. Petroglyphs are pecked into the rock.
Yes, you're correct.
Buckhorn Wash has both.
@gumbyboy15 oh, I didn't know. I've only been there once and I only saw the main rock panel which only consisted of pictographs (as far as I could tell) maybe I missed the petroglyphs
Great video! Definitely do a part 2, please!
