Being a new immigrant and having to adapt to a new country is a challenge that is incredibly difficult and I salute you for achieving a happy ending to that challenge. As a side note, gotta love those tram tracks.

@@TheHalfNomad I nearly crashed my motorbike on the tram tracks, 47 years ago when I lived in Melbourne for a couple of years. I hated them, though trams were a good way to get around.

I admire your courage to risk everything and move to a new country. I wish I had the same courage when I was younger. I think it's even harder now to move to Australia, prices are sky-high. What do you do for a living if it's not a secret... or better yet, what did you do when you first came to Melbourne?

Cheers! It didn’t at all feel like a risk back when I did it. It cane from a sense of adventure somewhere I guess in my younger self. And a deep rooted love for cricket and the MCG😊😊 like most migrants back then I worked heaps of odd jobs, the most prominent one being driving cabs at night as I worked my way through a university degree. It was all a lot of fun 👍🏼😊
