It’s been 8 years already since this video has been released. I still stop in and watch this in awe. Such an amazing piece of technology. I’m a big drone fan and love flying them professionally and review them on my TH-cam channel. I would of loved to been able to try this or at least seen this in person. Take care and God bless

Geniuses!!!! It is so realistic, that it's almost incomprehensible. I especially enjoyed when the other birds flew along side it. Seemed as though they were trying to figure out what kind of bird it was. I enjoyed the dragon fly as well, very realistic. This company will be worth billions in a very short time.

A wind sensor on or in the bird somewhere that would give you haptic feedback so the bord can fly with the wind which would make it much more efficient.

Other than having to wait through two minutes to see a really fine, modern example of DaVinci's design for an ORNITHOPTER, I was genually impressed with what this machine was cable of doing; this is a long way from a bamboo and silk machine powered by rubber bands.
I've been Building and flying free flight models since '57 and RC aircraft since '74 and haven't seen anything which impressed me as much as this 'aircraft' has done.
If plans are available I would appreciate knowing whom to contact so that I might build a few to fly at some of the slopes I enjoy flying from.

I have to imagine the military already has a fleet of them, painted exactly like birds. Talk about a formidable reconnaissance weapon, bomblet dropper, etc.
The transition from flapping wings to spinning blades to jet propulsion was critically important bc flapping wings requires immensely more energy and could never attain speed or reliability. Leave flapping wings it to the birds.
