Thank you for this because I just asked if you were still into this. I’m currently in Darien, GA because I just came from my hometown of Fort Lauderdale, FL all my life. I left to restart and currently living with my grandparents currently while working on finding a high paying WFH job. I want to relocate to the northern Georgia area because I want to launch a cosmetic empire, dabble in some acting/modeling, finish my bachelors degree in healthcare management, and live my new life there.

We the DMV are the hustlers of the Mid-Atlantic, then it is Atlanta. 🙂 I am moving to Atlanta from the DMV...seeking to hire folks in tech and business.

You came to Atlanta with the right mindset. You'll do very well here. The people who go on TH-cam complaining and saying it's overrated are the one's who come here expecting everything to be handed to them.

A smart girl who’s here for the right reasons that’s why she’s having a good experience. People moving here for love/clout/hype the ones who hate it here. Can’t befriend anybody you meet. This applies for any city tho

She’s very smart. She’s using her head. That’s the only reason I would like to move to northern Georgia because i am currently in southern Georgia in a rural town. I came to reside with relatives to get on my feet and restart.
You supposed to always VET everyone regardless of what state, city, or country you’re in. We have control as grown people who to hang around or befriend or date. You get to know people and find out if they’re worth being in your life. If you notice red flags from day 1 than don’t bother building no attachment out of desperation. We are grown adults not in high school.

I remember when I moved down here back in 2008. I lived in College Park, Ga first. My rent was $450.00 a month!!🤣🤣🤣 A year later I moved to Buckhead, I found a 500 square ft studio apartment for $650 a month! 🤣🤣🤣 on Peachtree road right down the street from puff daddy’s old restaurant/club. Those were days. Luckily I found a good man, got married and had my first child. We bought a house right outside of Atlanta right before the housing market boom. We’re still together and live a normal peaceful life.

Pretty accurate review on ATL! She’s also realistic, grounded and obviously has a good head on her shoulders. Some of these reviews I see on Atlanta are from people who are upset they couldn’t hack it here, came with unrealistic expectations or only tap into a very small part of the city. Atlanta is so much more than the commercialized view that’s portrayed in the mainstream
