No problem, glad I could help. My initial reaction to the VC jersey (from NBA store website) was “wtf?” I did some research and also ended up buying a T-Mac M&N Swingman from Fanatics and then realized this is how it’s going to be moving forward.
I just got the M&N 1999 Vince Cater “Slam dunk contest” away jersey and for sure the new gen M&N jerseys run slimmer than before or compared to Nike jerseys. Initially got a small but had to switch to a medium as it ran way too snug. I also noticed that the jock tags are made way more stiff, which makes the exposed squared corners so sharp that it looks like it may damage the jersey if bunched up a wrong way or machine washed. Although I’d rather have the old sewn on style it seems heat pressed on pretty well and are cut decently so I think it will last as long as I minimize washing frequency/hand wash. Nice jersey collection btw!
It's strange that M&N are changing to heat-press and the sizing. They need to update their official size chart online because it is no longer accurate; the size chart applies to the stitched M&N swingman jerseys.

They both don’t have the QR code with the date of production, just that one tag with the selling season (in my case “Spring 2020”). I don’t know if they decided to remove that QR code tag or if it’s only for jerseys sold here in Europe. I normally use that QR code as a proof of authenticity when I buy from private sellers, but from now on we might not be able to double check since they removed it!
Just a heads up - the youth size swingman jerseys are stitched and a youth L is pretty much the same as a men’s small, so if someone wears a small or medium men’s jersey, a youth L or XL might be a better option.
I picked up a Medium 2017 Vince Carter and it’s tight at 40”, should be 42”. Also got an old gen Magic jersey and it’s 42”. I guess even the old ones vary and need to get a chest measurement before buying.

Found odd that unlike your jerseys you just show mine does have the inside tag but dont have that other tag you show. Mines had only one tag inside where it says fall 2019.

What’s your height and weight? I just ordered an iverson jersey but it’s Mitchell and ness swingman, I think it’s a heat pressed one because I just ordered it ($130) but I’m 5’5” about 155/160 so was wondering how it would fit on me and if I should’ve ordered a different size instead
You might be better off getting a youth XL, it’s about the equivalent of a men’s medium and you’d be getting a stitched jersey instead of a heat-pressed one.
I believe ironed and heat printed are similar if not the same. Screen printing is different in that it can eventually peel off quite easily after long use. Hope that helps.
What can patrons do about the poor or lack luster quality? Better yet, I’ll ask, can anything be done about inferior merchandise quality? If nothing can be done, than why complain? It makes me upset too, but more than the issue of having to deal with companies offering inferior quality products, the issue that makes me upset the most, is that companies are not listening to the complaints of their patrons and are unwilling to make alterations to their goods and services. They simply do not care and they simply do not want to make changes. That really T’s me off! 😡

The size has nothing to do with gen 1 or 2, it depends on the team or the specific jersey. I´ve lot´s of M&N swingmans and some of them are a bit looser and some a bit tighter, as they were when they were worn on the field.
No I respectfully disagree. I have the VC and T-Mac M&N swingman which are both heat-pressed. Both their lengths and widths are shorter than their stitched predecessors. It's how M&N are moving forward. I recently visited the NBA Store in NYC and tried on a bunch of the swingman jerseys; the heat-pressed ones are smaller/tighter now. The stitched ones that I got to try on were slightly longer/wider.
@@elreiec1 Ok, that might be. I haven´t seen the new ones yet but just wanted to say that they old ones are also not equal in size, at least not exactly. My ´98 Pippen for instance is not as tight as my ´10 Curry. Both definitely genuine, no fakes. They are very similar in width, but not exaclty the same. But good that you say they´re now smaller, for me that means I have to go for size L, cause M is already on the tight side for me on the old jerseys.

Before the 2014-15 season, adidas used stitched for swingman.
