Hi girl! For the most part, everything is the same except we have a waterproof cover over top (can be a waterproof table cover or vinyl cover). That way, it's easy to wipe in between clients

Hi Rebecca! According to amazon, it holds 500 lbs (WAY enough for us)!! We've used it for years & no problems so far :) hope that helps you with your decision
