Even though it's slowed, the voice still sounds natural. I heard this version on tiktok and when I heard the original I was confused. I didn't realize the original artists voice was actual just high pitched

The main character is about to jump off the castle roof, and the love interest is frantically trying to get to them, running up the stairs as fast as they can. Each part of the overlapping chorus is one of the main characters thoughts.

This is probably completely unintentional, but in the looped clip in the background, the reeds kind of move along with the beat in certain parts of the song! Found it really cool.
