Best video I've found anywhere. Thank you for this. I've always had the M3 and now replacing with an M6 and was looking for info on the JRNY app. Thanks again.
Hey Curtis, it has actually been very stable for me (5'9, 195). Unfortunately the place I am renting has all carpet, so the wood flooring I have is on top of plywood over carpet (which makes it look a bit more unstable than it actually is or feels). Hoping to move later this year to a place better for filming!
Thanks for your help! We've had our BOWFLEX MAX TOTAL 16/40 for at least 6 months! And I still haven't been able to use it! Because the first time I attempted to use it it was so hard to step up and down, and I couldn't figure out how to make it any easier! So It's been sitting there not being used all of this time!
I definitely like that they added an extra set of handles closer to the user’s body. This was my biggest gripe when I first tried my M8. It feels like you are reaching out too far and have to lean forward. It is just awkward to me, even with having a 76” reach. I figured they would improve it over the years, I just wish they would have done it right the first time. Thanks for the video!
Is the grip you used the same as the upper grip on other machines as you said, or is it the third option that is only available on this more expensive max trainer?
plus 1 on the fan mode the gym ones have that and a good overhead fan at crunch. Makes such a big difference and enjoyable experience. Liked and subscribed just for that even if that shirt is weird lol happy riding!
Does anybody have this machine above tenants? I’m living in a bungalow apartment and have tenants underneath me obviously I plan on using this machine during the day so they are not sleeping. I plan on also using a mat underneath to impact any sound
thanks, yes the wobble was from my old apartment (had to place wood floors on top of plywood/carpet). It doesn't have the wobble anymore now that I have moved 🎉
My M3 Trainer was also making a knocking noise. I ordered a new set of the up and down rubber bushings, not the rubber bushings that goes in a circular motion. As of now, I am waiting for a service person to come and change the rubber bushings out. I will let you know, if the new rubber bushings solved the problem.
When I use my Max Trainer with my Apple Watch the calories burned on Max Trainer screen are way higher than it shows on my Apple Watch. Why is there so much discrepancy? Am I really burning that many calories on the max trainer? My height/age/weight are entered correctly. I have tried using the elliptical, stair climber, and hiit workout modes on apple watch when starting and ending the workout and all 3 programs show calories burned way less than it does on the actual max trainer screen.
Machines are always way too high in the amount of calories burned. Think it’s marketing to keep you coming back. I personally trust only what I see on my smart watch.
it took two fat people three hours to put it together.. taking it apart will be difficult. The training manual said to get the best workout is to take it apart and put it back together five times per week. I can see how this will help lose weight in the long run
I was stupid enough to purchase one and when I tried to resell it (virtually new) I could only get 10 cents on the dollar. Very difficult machine, tough on your knees and lower back, and torturous to use even on the lowest level. And no, I'm not out of shape. I've been working out for decades. You've been warned.

The unit looks very wobbly. Any comments on the stability and general feel as you are using it? BTW I am 6'2 and 225lbs.

@@ConnectTheWatts thanks!
I was thinking the same thing. I have mines. I’m just waiting on the guy to come and set it up? So excited 😆
What’s the warranty like? Can you use it in the garage without voiding warranty?
The wood floor in the video looked unusually soft.
I really enjoyed seeing that tiny Christmas tree vs large screen TV combo in the background at the end. Nice touch.

Try stepping on the very back of the foot petal to get it going, makes it slightly easier!
I rented one to try it out. I sent it back because I had that exact same problem. I thought it would damage my knees.😊

This was the best video. Because of it I'm going to purchase.
Thanks and I hope you enjoy it!
Don't it shit
Just ordered! Thank you for all of the information!
Did you experience any heel or foot pain from using this machine?
@@12caldude Nope. I love it!
Is the Max good for Seniors ?
I love mine, but JRNY sucks. I just use a Peloton run or walk class. Great video. Not many online about this. It’s a great workout!
Hi T-CATT. What sucks about JRNY? I honestly have only heard of iFIT.
@@cdphotography2 it doesn’t really do anything. It’s is very bald, no variety. If I fit is a 7, JRNY is a 3.
@@catt3911 Much appreciated the reply. Thank You.

Can you play TH-cam from your phone and cast to the screen?
To be able to watch entertainment on it do you have to have the membership?
Any advice or guidance on where to place my feet? The pedals are huge, so I’m never sure where my feet should be.

does it have an apple watch or apple health integration?
I cant decide between this one and the M6
Don't there shit.
@ bought it then sold it lol I don’t like how I was leaned over
Can a short person whon s 4 feet 10 inches use this Bowflex M6 well? Or if can adjustments be made?
Yup my wife is actually 4ft 10” and has no issues with finding a good handle to hold onto
The website says "Wifi required" Do I need wifi to just workout? Is the wifi just for the use of the programs on it?
The programs
Would you recommend the max trainer 16?
Do I need the bow flex membership to enjoy Netflix and prime or TH-cam?
Nice video but check the assembly of your Max Trainer- mine is rock solid& doesn’t wobble in use - 👍
thanks, yes the wobble was from my old apartment (had to place wood floors on top of plywood/carpet). It doesn't have the wobble anymore now that I have moved 🎉
Great video.
I have the M3
After a few uses, it started making a knocking noise. Any ideas how to fix that or what it is? I can still use it, just very noisy.

So does mine.
If you choose not renew your membership, you can still use your Max Trainor?
Of course lol
Did the max trainer come with the equipment mat?
No I don’t think it did. I have a few that’ve I’ve bought from Amazon
It does now, I literally bought mine yesterday. 6/7/22
Can you ride the MT without using the arms?
Yes.
I have the maxtrainer 16 and my rpms does not move. Reached out to bowflex and they have no idea what's going on. Any suggestions
Sorry to hear that. Not sure what could be the problem but hopefully they can figure it out.
Did you experience any heel or foot pain from using this machine?
how can I set the high and low-intensity intervals to increase or decrease the time of my m6?

Recommendation: Get rid of that cheap laminated floating floor. The movement on that machine in use is unacceptable.
He doesn’t have money for that. His entire paycheck goes to subscriptions every month.
