- "Sinug" is the Grand Prize Winner of Sinulog 2008 Short Film Festival. It also bagged the awards for Best in Editing and Best in Production Design while nominated in 2 other minor awards - Best in Sound Engineering and Musical Scoring and Best Director.
This 10-minute video is a documentary of an evolution - Sinulog beat and dance. The production team, Maridel Delegencia-Producer, Lyjunna Rosauro-Writer with 8thumbs (John Vincent Labata, Idden Harris Delos Reyes, Remton Zuasola and John Darcy Arguedo), John Rey Tanhusay-cameraman, Arnel Zuasola-production staff, took almost 1 month to create this piece. Fifty percent(50%)of the shoots were conducted at the 8thumbs studio in Talamban, Cebu City, Philippines.
"Sinug" is a look-back of the Mother of all Festivals. The historical trace was supported by the Father of Sinulog Mr. David Odilao, Jr., multi-awarded choroegrapher Mr. Mych Gonzalez and the person who is considered to be the only key to old Sinulog, Estelita "Inday Titang" Diola.
With a historical content, the production team decided to pair it with modern and up-beat presentation. - ภาพยนตร์และแอนิเมชัน
