    Friends, this is a new project I have started in a 10 Lac liter water open pond. This will be my new experiments in an open pond, where I am doing Vannamei Shrimp Farming in Fresh Water using Biofloc Technology. In my future videos, I will be sharing all details related to this farming. If you have any queries or questions you can comment to me and I will try to respond to you as earliest as possible.

    Sir
    After watching your video I went back to memory lane of my college days. One of my professor was so meticulous in explaning the experiment and when we went to lab we are already ready with complete procedure in our heads. You reminded me of him. You are awesome in teaching ur subject. I am sure it will help everyone in starting the new project. God bless you always.

    Hello brother, your nursery tank is in height. Use bottom drain to transfer directly to the pond. You can net the shrimp just before the pipe dispose the water to the pond. You can weigh the shrimp then and calculate the feed required in the pond.
    This will make your shrimp less stressed and they will start feeding sooner. Anyways nice setup. Love from Nepal.

    Excellent video and perfectly well explained. Thank you very much Mr. Kallol and wishing you all success in your new project. My question is, after the initial water treatment with KMnO4, do you just let the iron and heavy metal compounds to settle to the bottom of the tank or you remove them from the bottom? If you remove them, how do you do it? Is it not dangerous to let these compounds remain within the tank?

    • @RoadtoBioFloc
      @RoadtoBioFloc  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you so much. In my small tanks I have tried the culture by not removing the heavy metals after removing it. That's why I haven't removed it intentionally in my pond to check the culture.

    Even though you have presented for the first time, you have done it in a detailed and understandable way. Keep it up. This presentation will be complete once you give the balance tasks of culture management in giving the feed to the shrimp based on the weight gain from time to time, how you managed to evacuate the faecal and waste food sediments from the bottom of the tank through the embedded outlet pipe system, did you monitor the oxygen and ph levels during the culture period.
    Ultimately how did you manage harvesting? Hope you have not done it one go. If not how exactly you managed harvesting and marketing part of it.
    What is the difference in this system and regular farming using surface aerators?.
    All the best.....
