That’s really very amaze to see your culture,
You will creat an history in Biofloc culture, after successful completion of this culture, as each and every Biofloc trainers/ Farmers says we need to clean bottom regularly,
24 hrs aeration required, I don’t see you are doing anything like that, above all you are going to use the same water for your next culture, 😍😍
That is the real use of Biofloc culture. You may the first one who is doing this.

    Hi Kallol,
Thanks for posting this video. Your tank is approx 930 Sq. Mtr ( 10,000 Sq. Ft ). Assuming a water depth of 1 Mtr in your pond, your pond capacity is 930 Cu. Mtrs and contains approx 930,000 Ltrs. Let us round it up and assume it is 1000 Cu. Mtrs and therefore holding 1,000,000 Ltrs. You are expecting a production of 2000 kgs at harvest. That means your stocking density at harvest is only 2 kg per Cu. Mtr. This is extremely low because you yourself have been able to achieve a production of 4.9 kg per Cu. Mtr in your 4 Mtr dia tank. The stocking density possible for L. Vannamei is anywhere between 6 - 9 kg per Cu. Mtr. Why did you then go for this ultra low stocking density?

Thank you so much for such nice observations. There are several reasons to it, the first one is - I am doing it for the first time in a open pond with no prior experience. Just I wanted to gain some experience with low stocking density then going forward I will increase it. Also there in my farm there is no 3 phase electricity connections due to which I cannot install high aeration pumps to support higher biomass. These are the two basic things due to which I am doing it in very low concentration. I hope you got your answer. Thank you so much for watching my contents.

But I have noticed you never mentioned anything about the amount of Carbon source that need to be added in biofloc ponds. While calculating the cost I believe the Carbon source(sugar/molasses) consumes a considerable amount of money as well. If carbon source is not used at all, then are you running it fully based on nitrification process ?
