I remember this as a kid i got too emotional not wanting to hurt jowy so i didnt attack the whole duel. Accidentaly i got the best ending by not attacking. Also learned something from it, sometimes you dont need to resort to violence specially when youre against a friend
i can still remember my line up during the final boss twin headed dragon fight, Humphrey, Pesmerga, Georg Prime, Prince Mcdohl ( hero of suikoden 1) Mazus and the hero of this game i named him Lord Zeno what a time that was... Suikoden 2 in my heart and mind is the awesomest bestest, most complete rpg video game i've ever played in my life, back 1999 yes i was 16 at this time. Too much nostalgia and cried...

i dunno thou this ending has all three heroes survive but...in my opinion,jowy is a jerk and betrayer,i could never forgive his betrayal and i would love if only nanami could survive while jowy can rot in hell.look the facts...luca was defeated but jowy did the unthinkable,he became a new luca blight thou he was not a sadist like luca but still continued his war and it caused much more bloodshed and misery..and he was even ready to kill riou and nanami if necessary,on many occasions!.and even pilika's story doesnt make any sense.its like a stockholm syndrome kid.her family and whole village were massacred by highlanders and she even lost her voice because of luca blight.and then,she is like feeling uncomfortable around riou and the rest of dunans the whole time where she was with them like they were the killers of her family,even nanami took very care of her,,,but then suddenly gets her voice back when she was used as escape goatee and got back to jowy.and then she seems like reborn living by jowy and jillia...in a fucking highland who caused her misery in first place.no matter she is a kid,,,it still sucks.she is not so dumb to not know that highlanders killed her family,,,the very ones her idiot guardian uncle leads now as king.and these "oh jowy kept the beast rune from activating" also doesnt makes any sense.he witnessed with his own eyes what luca did to musenians...wasn't it enough for him to reconsider a different approach to riou after luca was defeated?but no...he continued the same evil path of the destruction luca started.
back when theres no google and youtube to guide you. ive been thinking so hard how to finish this till a friend said i should complete the destiny stars. i had problem finding the racoon member that randomly join your party in a fight. i spent hours til decided to just end the game.
If you do not get mukumuku while in genkaku village (first time fisiting nanami, you can have mukumuku at the huge tree behind the house) press x button and your character will turn around, DO it for three times and mukumuku will be in your party, you still can get him. But you must have richmond first. And go to his room after you can visit muse city. Before go to Muse City talk to Ricmond and tell him to find ???????? whreaobout. After that go to other location like radat, sound windows or else. And after awhile go to richmond again. And richmond will tell you where to find ??????????. its between to rivers city and muse city. Go there and empty one slot (just bring 4 hero) include you 5 hero. Empty slot will be for mukumuku. Fight some monsters between two river city and muse. Just follow the road over and over again. The sign of you get mukumuku is the screen freeze for 1 second. And after that voila mukumuku will be in your party. After that you can collect makumaku, mikumiku, mekumeku, mokumoku. They are all in that map but different route. Just follow the instruction from Richmond. I hope that help you to collect all star of destiny. You can equip all of them with just one type rune. For mekumeku just water and flowing rune. For mukumuku fire and rage rune. And so on. Follow the color of their cap.
One question that I always asked myself: In this ending, everything is perfect, the three friends are united, however: Jowy committed many crimes such as murder (Annabella). As King of Highland he commited war crimes. None of this matters? He is not punished for this in any way?
For me personally, I think the true ending kinda killed the game for me. The game was excellent, but I never got Jowy's reasons to keep fighting and then they all leave all the conflict behind to travel together... I like the other ending better where Jowy dies, it's a shame Nanami also dies...
Pesmerga and tuber should have their own dark game story by now lol~ George is really old huh~ all the way from that kingdom along with lorelai and killey~
I am wondering why she faked her death to her brother I could understand why Kiba did I would have found a way to keep Kiba, Seed, Culgan,Salome Jeeh and possibly Luca Blight all being healed with the Bright Shield Rune and on your side just saying my opinion that's all!!!!
u need to equiring the player to have recruited all 108 Stars before heading to Rockaxe and having saved Nanami from certain death, this ending gives the original trio a surprisingly bittersweet conclusion.
