Canoe Mountain is such an amazing peak. It's a shame funding for a gondola and ski resort on the peak was never found because I am sure it would have become an iconic travel destination by now with views like that!
Been up there three times, You didn’t show the scene of the town of Valmont from up there, it’s pretty spectacular. The glacier to the west is really spectacular too! Thanks for the great video!
We're planning to head back this year! It'll be our first trip back to BC since 2018. I'm pumped and can't wait to see the spectacular view again. Miss riding that bumping road lol
Sweet, I’m going to try and get out there again this year. I have to get redemption for the drone footage… lol… Ride safe my friend, and thanks for the comment!!!
Thanks Tammy, I appreciate the comment... Now check your email in the next few days.... Looking at a GC trip mid August.... No pressure, but hope you guys can make it...
Hey Frankie Be, I’d say a stock 4wd Ram would do just fine. However please note a couple of things, I’d run the ram in 4-low as it’s a consistent and steep climb. Also, i would recommend a good set of tires as this will typically be the part of the vehicle that fails/is damaged.... There is a lot of sharp rock, so a good ply tire will almost guarantee a successful drive. And if you want to go a step further air down said tires for a smoother and more grippy ride. The view is worth it.... I will be doing this ride again.... Thanks for the comment on the video.
@@frankiebe4818 A few of us are planning on going up on the 18th... What day are you planning on going? I will have a 08 Ranger FX4 with 31s and a mild lift.
Well, made it up. Definitely used the upgraded tires (KO2's with a level kit). I wouldn't recommend going if you like your paint job though. Pinstripes galore, but worth it! A full sized truck might be a bit too wide with all the overgrowth.

Thanks for the comment Frankpohr. I'm hoping to get up there again this riding season, and get some redemption on the drone footage.
