    I can't believe these are still operational after 80 years. When I went on them in the 80's as a kid, I never thought I'd take my own kids on them 30+ years later.

    yeah I remember taking this tour as a kid. makes you wonder why they haven't come up with amphibious vehicles that are more advanced since this was made.

      sportsMike87 yeah I agree. These things are ancient now.

      A newer amphibious vehicle wouldn’t have the charm or ruggedness of one used during WWII

    I don't know why so many people want the the Wisconsin Ducks to go out of business. First of all, There is nothing wrong with the boats, as they are the original model, unlike the Branson boats, which were modified to be longer in order to carry more passengers. Secondly, the land geography of where the Wisconsin Ducks are located is very safe. The Ducks in Wisconsin Dells runs on a much smaller lake and on the Wisconsin River, which is enclosed by tall rock cliffs on each side that blocks the wind unlike the massive, open lake in Branson, that is prone to high winds and huge waves. To add on to this, the Wisconsin Ducks stop their tours if any speck of red comes on the weather radar, even if it is far away. Also, many duck companies have had a history of accidents or injuries, (such as the duck boat accident in Arkansas that killed 13 people back in 1999) but the Wisconsin Ducks history is clear of any accidents or injuries.

      I agree. The Wisconsin ducks are very safe and it's unfair for people to be saying what they are saying about it. The tragedy in Branson was a product of poor decisions and that's a fact.

      It’s not the ducks fault it’s the stupidity of the captain they know the boat is almost 90 years old but DUH it’s gonna sink they made something called the hydra termite or something in Branson now

    WE DEMAND FOR THE DUCKS OF WISCONSIN DELLS TO STOP BUSINESS BEFORE ANOTHER TRAGEDY HAPPENS BECAUSE OF WHAT HAPPENED IN RIDE THE DUCKS IN BRANSON 17 people died

    • @CoasterFanatics
      @CoasterFanatics  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Relax, The Wisconsin Ducks Don't operate in storms. This was a bad move by the people who run the place in Missouri. It's their fault and their fault alone.

    • @avefenix7889
      @avefenix7889 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      CoasterFanatics it’s not only about weather
      if any mechanical problem ocurra or the duck hits a rock and start sinking THE DUCKS HAVE BEEN PROVEN TO BE FATAL TRAPS please check the history on duck boats accidents
