The top and bottom of the bottle should make a perfect seal to avoid mosquitoes. If you're not confident it will work you can use packing clear tape to seal the two pieces. You can also use gel beads instead of just water. Mosquitoes can't lay eggs in them.
God Bless ❤🙏

I am so confused. Just about everything I plant dies of rot. I keep putting more drainage and to the mix and decrease the amount of water. for over a year.
@@BestTatay Tried almost everything you can think of and more I think. Various levels and combos of coco coir, Pete Moss, sphagnum Moss, Perlite, vermiculite, course sand, shredded paper, cut up Popsicle/corn dog stocks sticks, Rock chips, and compost. Usually with coco or Pete as the base. I have tried anywhere from 10:90 to 100:0 percent base:drainage. Sometimes I mix a little water soluble fertilizer, mix with water, or no fertilizer. I’ve tried different amounts of water distilled usually sometimes tap. Changed water from a few days to weeks usually clean with bleach or isopropyl alcohol. Seems I always over or underwater. Use different size strips of microfiber cloth. Sometimes have the cap off but usually on. Tried with lots of drainage holes to none at all. Previously I’ve tried either no holes for air tight and different size and quantities of holes/slits to allow moisture to escape. Bigger the whole usually invites ton of gnats to infest the water reservoir. Right now trying cuts at the top to allow more direct vertical access for the water to evaporate.
@@jerimiah_y Sometimes you just need a simple soil that plants only need..like mine I've only used vermicast, topsoil, and coco coir/rice hull..but it also matters the climate in your country., here in the Philippines is so hot in here.. but your mixture is quite good,. just keep on planting and you will get the perfect ways to grow your own food/plants
