Thank you so much. I have been Looking for a patch maker. You did a great job. Thanks for bringing up the fake Service Dog Organization Registry. I called the ADA about them. That's why there are So many fake service dogs. Again thanks for posting this vlog
The pink pack that is from Rough Wear looks like Chronically Jaquie’s old pack. I am aware they make millions of them. I just recognized that one from a handler who unfortunately isn’t with us anymore.
I can’t tell what type of rope the frayed leash is but burning the frayed ends may stop it from getting worse. You can try holding a lighter under it and if the frayed ends melt away it should stay like that.
That favorite leash at 12.08 I just made like like that thanks to this video. I wish I could share it on here. I made mine out of blue rope and red accents color.
Also I definitely recommend a martingale dog collar! They are pretty much made for safety purposes for your dog where they can’t slip out. But the chain collar keeps tightening while the martingale won’t keep tightening. But it still makes sure your dog won’t be able to slip out!
I used to have a shelter service dog! He’s the best behaved boy but he had to wash at 1-2 because he developed hip problems :( he’s retired now as a pet. But I have a golden retriever service dog from an organization now and she’s the greatest dog
I have a Greyhound Mobility Service dog and I use a Martingale collar rather than a chain ”training collar.” It has the same effect of closing down to make it impossible to slip the collar in case of emergency, but it is flat, so it does not dig in when tightened. Martingale collars work well for short haired breeds.
I have the same raincoat for my SDIT the one you have is reversible by the way lol! My dog legs are very thin like 1invh so I need that boot for the Texas summer heat
OMG 😍 that suicide and self harm awareness patch makes me feel like SOMEBODY CARES about people like me ( I have severe depression and mild PTSD I have a SD in training)
Please let me tell you that I understand and care as someone that has dealt with and currently deals with depression, anxiety, and PTSD i am so sorry you go through all you do. You are loved and there are people who care.
You should try a martingale collar instigated a chain because it tightens but doesn’t keep tightening and she can’t choke or slip out of it and it is safer than flat collars because they put pressure on the trachea 👍😀
You could also use a martingale collar if you are worried about her backing out of a flat collar :) (idk if you have tried that or not and I do know this is an old video but just saying)
idk if you biothane but i use homegrown dog gear on etsy for mine. you do have to buy the detach able traffic lead separate but it’s been my favorite brand so far.
Thanks for this video! Great explanations and awesome service 🐕. Trying to get a service dog for my anaphylactic allergies towards food. (any advice for?) Thanks again for the videos !!
Sorry I'm just now responding. Allergy detection dogs can be easy to train depending on what they would be sensing. I would talk to a trainer about it. You can look at going through an organization as well if you feel training yourself isnt the right route to take.
Where did you get your dog trained? I’m curious because I want to get a medical alert dog for my diabetes. But I don’t know where would be best to train them.
Lisa M yes I had a martingale but it just didn’t fit her well at all. She also could still slip out of martingales. The chain is gentle as long as used properly just as any training tool could be harmful if used improperly.
@@therescuedservicedog5342 I just love her she's so cute I have a little bichon friese who even has his own IG account yes I agree used properly doesn't hurt its those who use them wrong that ticks me off because half don't even know how to put them on let alone use them I've seen some with them on away down low and some have them back to front if u know what I mean on the wrong side and the dog is choking to death on the end of the leash I'm not keen on prongs as there more better options like choke chain or canny collar I myself have taught my dog lots of helpful tricks like laying over my legs when I feel upset or shutting doors drawers saying prayers sneezing etc my dog isn't a service dog but can detect my panic attacks coming on I recently bought my aunts lab a collar she tends to wind my aunt up once she's off leash she runs and stops when my aunt goes to grab her she runs opposite way but tends to listen to me 😂😂dogs are the best ever man's and womens best friend
@@therescuedservicedog5342 oml i saw you there and didnt even think twice. i didnt have my dog with me but you were sitting on the bench near the fitting room with little bit. im the one thats been emailing you.
mattia dizard handlers can use whatever they please on their dogs. I know a large percent use prong, choke, martingale, head, and E collars. It is all up to the handler there is no rules against it.
mattia dizard it depends on the method you use. I use R+, meaning I use no verbal or physical corrections. She likely uses balance, which uses positive and negative corrections.

This is so random but would you be willing to take and send me a video of the handmade leash that detaches? I have replayed the video so many times and I just want to see it up close. Let me know if this is wired. 🤷🏽♀️ IDK 😐
The Rescued Service Dog that would be amazing!! Omg thank you so much! chronicallymom2@gmail.com It’s my public email so don’t worry about others seeing this.
those giant handles on such a small dog look ridiculous. I certainly hope you are doing mobility with her. she is way too small. You are going to hurt her
She is beautiful! i just brought home a prospect puppy to fill the shoes of my recently retired SD!

Actually hud housing urben development aka public housing requires service dogs to be certified in order to be on property
mattia dizard false, at least here in MA they don’t.
False, there is no such registry for service dogs and hud is violating ads by requesting that...

Oh my gosh! Your service dog is so adorable! She/He reminds me 0f my Service dog:)
Rofl, just found this channel and started laughing. My SDiT is named Little Bit, short for Little Bit of Trouble.

If you're looking for another over the shoulder leash like the rope one, look at catydidparacord. She does paracord leashes like that one.
Haley Newton on Etsy?

Try yup collars on Etsy for an over the shoulder leash
I think the d ring in the back of pink bag vest would probably be used for like hanging water bottles? Love the video💕

I actually did all of her training myself. The ADA reserves the right for handlers to owner train their dog.
The Rescued Service Dog oh ok, thank you! Do you have any tips for training I’m right on money so if I’m able to train them myself I would love to.

Have u tried martingale collars I use them stops them pulling out also very gentle on their neck

If you're looking for a over the shoulder dog leash go to Amazon
Why do you have a service dog?
Renate van der poel so as staying in the video description she does diabetes alert, PTSD alert and response, she also does alerts for my POTS.
