Just purchased my tickets! My mom saw Rocky IV in theaters way back in 1985. She got me into Rocky! She is excited to go see the new version and I'm excited to finally see a Rocky movie on the big screen! Lansing on November 11! Can't wait!
This film has one of the best movie soundtracks ever... not my favorate rocky film, that would have to goto rocky 3 but still a fantastic film. Can't wait to see this version...

Love Rocky 4 as much as the next Rocky fanatic but compared to the rest of the saga its pacing has always felt a little too quick. This is not only epic but makes it feel more like the other films. The boxing commission scene is in one of the original trailers but we just hear about it in the cut we got. Would really like to see this cut. Always felt the movie would have been even better with certain scenes like are shown here.

The director of V is dead. He did have an original cut that was very different than the released movie. Perhaps that could be released.

If they use new songs instead of No Easy Way Out, War, Training Montage and Burning Heart then it's a slippery road.
You are right, those songs made the movie legendary, without them is gonna be a normal movie about boxing
The training scenes with Heart's On Fire playing are my favorite. The soundtrack is my workout music.
only other acceptable substitute would be the training songs from rocky 1
