Just want to say thanks for the 5 minute video. Most channels nowadays take that long to play some pretentious into and it’s ten minutes in before they talk about cooking. Tried this on my Treager and it was great!
Just bought my first chicken throne at Ace Hardware. Filled with apple juice and Traeger chicken rub. Traeger run on the bird then spritzed the chicken about every 30 minutes. Hands down best roasted chicken I’ve ever tasted!!!
Great smoke. Never thought about using apple juice. We don't drink so we use other juices. Will definitely try apple juice. Keep smoking and Merry Christmas.
It doesnt matter what liquid you use, because no liquid or moisture "steams up through the chicken". If you cook your chicken to 165 or 170, it is physically impossible for the liquid in the can to steam. That wont happen until 212 or close to it. Beer, Juice, etc are mostly water. NO doubt its juicy and tastes great. But every well cooked roast chicken tastes great!

If Greg Johnson says it was the best roasted chucken he has eaten, you can take it to the bank!
Hi Greg! That's awesome! Thanks for watching our video.
I get you wanted to show the tender juiciness of the bird but let it rest a while before carving... it's even better-er!! 😉
Thanks for the video!

Use a probe and/or meat thermometer. Don't eat undercooked chicken!
