spoilers for ac7 Kestrel II is in the game, mentioned but never seen. There is a carrier named the “admiral andersen”. mission 20 and it’s run aground. In the cutscene, Avril (one of the narrators for the story) talks about how he was the admiral who launched kept the Kestrel together to allow a squadron of fighters to take off, and how they ended the war. In a way, AC7 is literally a huge homage to AC5 IMO. Not to mention the fact that Nagase is an astronaut after her dreams for interstellar expansion mentioned in AC5, and. that you fight in similar places from AC4, such as Stonehenge, and Farbanti (exactly 14 years to the date after AC4)
Came for the airplanes stayed for the heavy plot and intrigue, this game really stood out in the PS2 era back when this type of cinematic storytelling was just starting to take shape.

The world is most likely quite aware since AWWNB was like an international brigade, impossible to even try to keep that secret when you have loose ends all over the world

CIWS would not be that ineffective against incoming missiles, not to mention that non stealthy missiles somehow got the drop on an AEGIS equipped carrier? No way. They could also take more hits than that not to mention the hits were above the waterline... sheesh.

But I think it's Nimitz class because the Kestrel's hull classification is CVN... And the Kitty Hawk is CV (conventional, diesel powered) and that's make me thinking that Kestrel is a Nimitz class

Oka Nieba gets like 3 whole seconds and yet immediately became my favorite AWACS in the series in that small timeframe. God Bless Oka Nieba
