    I want to change my clutch line to a braided ,from the lever ware does it go to

    • @kodokunaraida1044
      @kodokunaraida1044  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello Richard. The clutch line is split into three pipes. From your clutch master cylinder on your handle bars the line goes down under your left air vent. It then connects to a metal tube which goes down close to your clutch slave cylinder near the rear of your motor on the left hand side. Then the metal pipe connects to a rubber pipe again that connects to the slave cylinder . I hope this helps. If you need any more help or photos please ask KR

    Hello again. I am restoring a 2001 Vmax with 35000 miles. I would be lost without your detailed guidance.

    The slave cylinder on mine seals perished and no resistance from clutch lever

      Hi, it’s normal. The kits are cheap and easy to repair or rebuild and your clutch will work fine again. KR

      @@kodokunaraida1044 I wish I could show you on here but the smallest seal that goes around the push rod that hits the slave cylinder was that perished and it came off in bits so now I have a ring of rubber I can't dig out, can it be burned out or something ? It's engine side so hard to reach, right behind where the cylinder goes

      I wouldn’t use heat. I understand what you are talking about. I use a sharp object or needle and dig it out. But be gentle so you don’t damage the cylinder. I know it looks difficult but take your time and be patient and you will get it. KR
