for sure man her driving has room for improvement, I didn't mean for my comment to sound like her driving was up to par, just cool that she's involved in her sons life. Cheers!
My mom was married to a guy before me and my sister were born. They was in the military and he had three muscle cars. I don't know what the other two were but one of the cars was a Pontiac GTO and they board the engine out and put a three deuce on it. Freaking put it back together and he ended up selling them years down the road after they broke up
One of my favorite stories growing up was when my mom came with me to look at a 1986 Mustang GT that I was going to buy. I had just wrecked my first car (69 Firebird) and had a sizeable insurance chexk.. This was in 1989 and I was 16 years old at the time. I didn't really know how to drive a stick. Test drive...I got in and lamely rowed through the gears, very gently. She asked me to pull over. She requested that we switch seats. She pulled out and then proceeds to rev the engine and dump the clutch... first...2nd gear Big chirp...3rd gear Medium chirp rowing all the way to 5th. I was in amazement. I couldn't believe my mom knew how to drive a stick like that...then again she had a 65 GTO 389 Tri-Power convertible in the late 60's. What that car would be worth today!!! Anyhow, she passed in May of 04. Miss her every day!!!
My mom currently drives a base model sentra but my dad has always had sports cars we had a type r swapped civic and my mom got to drive it while my dad was away, she ripped the car harder than he ever did to this day whenever she drives a sporty car I make good use of that holy shit handle

I taught my sister, at the ripe old age of 14, to drive my '67 GTX with a 4 speed. She only killed it once. After about 3 miles, she let 'er rip in 3rd gear, running it to about 100. The look on her face was Kodak moment, if I've ever seen one. The power could just about rip your face off. I also taught her to drive my 650 Yamaha. My sister was SO cool when she was young. It made me happy to be a "big brother". She could drive anything.

thats amazing that is one badass mom shes so full of life and energy im happy for you man keep on doing what youre doing and have fun doin it!!! good luck in all your endeavors love this channel man.
Man driving an automatic is like driving a bumper car at the theme park, it's a car, it's meant to be driven in manual, that way it actually makes you feel like you're driving a car!
Luke Youngs im american and ill be the first to admit that theres some truth to what you said. from my experience it was the clutch that would mess me up and id be lieng if i said i didnt almost give up from frustration. also in the u.s alot of ppl claim to be car enthusiasts when more than half dont know the difference between stick and auto.
Older women are more familiar with driving manual cars because back then manual cars were the standard fare. In the rare case they had the privilege of owning a car, they most likely knew how to drive manual (and still do). Autos came a while later and now it's almost entirely dominated by autos and those stupid paddles. At least 8 out of 10 women who drove back then knew how to drive manual, compared to today which I assume is like 1 in 30.
TJ Alexander What a precarious point in our history. Many Americans today are afraid to drive stick, however every single accident I have been involved in was caused by someone driving an automatic (except that motorcyclist I once saved on the freeway; he was just a jerk on a bike who thought he was Batman). But durability and economy? I have a 1.6 L manual '96 Civic still running on it's original tranny that can whoop most engines up to 2.5 L and still get 50 to the gallon. When I do replace my transmission, it will cost me a whopping $150. I just pray I never need to replace the tranny on my '08 X3, which will run about $4000.
On the plus side when buying a used car you can often get the manual version for cheaper than the auto version because less people bid on them. For standard cars I mean. I'd hope that the opposite is the case for sports cars, if the customer knows anything about having fun in a car they should get the manual version.
TannerLittle44 No shit. She never lets go of the shifter...check from 1:50. Paddle to the metal in a 900hp car and only 1 hand at 12 oclock....speaking of bad driving position (post example at 4:09 and even better at 4:42 lolz)
With that much blow-by making it out his exhaust it's literally only a matter of time before that guy is rebuilding that engine. Or at the very least replacing a head gasket. I hope he invested in some good studs.
***** true i had a 1st gen dsm ran 27-30psi daily but never had blow by like this. I know it's a different motor I'm just going off my experience owning multiple dsms
I really hate manual transmissions. They tease you with acceleration then you have to shift. With an automatic it just pulls hard right through the gears.
I own both a manual and an automatic so I have plenty of experience with both. Driving the auto though is so much fun because of the tremendous acceleration that just keeps going. The auto can shift through the gears and you don't loose your boost. With the manual, after every shift it has to build the boost back up and shifting 4 times just to get to 30 mph gets really old after a while. I guess for laid back driving a manual is ok, but when you want to have some exhilarating fun then it is automatic all the way! Love hearing the tires chirp as the auto shifts!
black for too much gas , blue when oil burns, steam that smells sweet from tailpipe is when antifreeze enters combustion chamber, like cracked head/block or blown head gasket .....pretty simple!
In high hp builds its pretty common to have an increased ring end gap leading to alot more burnt oil. I can't tell here but its either that or the turbo is going. This car did last a long time after this video before being sold though.

it is, unfortunately. Only a couple of my friends and I know how to drive stick
it is VERY rare to know more than 10 ppl that drive stick outside of a car/enthusiast club. i love my 6 speed tho :p
TJ Alexander lol america
***** Sadly a lot of new cars everywhere are coming out with auto boxes, I don't really like them though so I'll stick to my manual. ;)
deafyboy86 These days, manual isn't even available as an OPTION (contrary to a few years ago when automatic was optional)
900hp, 1 hand on the wheel. Seems like a pro driver...
Its a Stick Shift...
TannerLittle44 No shit. She never lets go of the shifter...check from 1:50. Paddle to the metal in a 900hp car and only 1 hand at 12 oclock....speaking of bad driving position (post example at 4:09 and even better at 4:42 lolz)
This video never gets old no matter how many times I watch it.
Legends say that the stig from top gear is this womens long lost son
"Are you like a female Stig or something?' 'Oh, well I used to drive a stick long time ago.. actually I taught Casey how.'
That mum's got some evo SWAG!!!!
She's genuine, and love these kind of videos
coolest mom ever
+Liangshi Xu ,,, i agree!

Momma drives stick !!!! AWESOME AMERICAN IS AWESOME ;).... greetings from Europe. I SALUTE YOU!!
What a wonderful Lady!
I drive like your mom..
Meaning you don't know how to shift?
+Hao Liu ... hahaha,, lol ,, nice
With that much blow-by making it out his exhaust it's literally only a matter of time before that guy is rebuilding that engine. Or at the very least replacing a head gasket. I hope he invested in some good studs.
i think cars that are as aggressive as this and tune like this are bound to do that. and the was shifting at red line
More like the car is made to handle it. Nice try though.
I feel sorry for you then
lol
jack frost
i agree bro i hate automatic its for disable ppl
I own both a manual and an automatic so I have plenty of experience with both. Driving the auto though is so much fun because of the tremendous acceleration that just keeps going. The auto can shift through the gears and you don't loose your boost. With the manual, after every shift it has to build the boost back up and shifting 4 times just to get to 30 mph gets really old after a while.
I guess for laid back driving a manual is ok, but when you want to have some exhilarating fun then it is automatic all the way! Love hearing the tires chirp as the auto shifts!
kdw75 Have never heard that kind of talk from some one that actually drives standards... Thats too bad
This most be the coolest mother's day gift ever 😂😂😂🤟🏻🤟🏻🤟🏻🤟🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
Why can't my mom like cars like this? :(
140 one handed at 7 o'clock! nice
Confirmed this lady is the Stig from Top Gear
Wow, 17m views.. hello from 2017, this is still great to watch. Power to moms and Happy Mother's day!
I love the Camera crews reaction more
4:45 that redline tho😍😍
Cool mom bro
Id smash
Love how she rev banged and kept going thru gears
look at the oil pumping out the pipe of that rice basket !
there is black smoke , then theres blue which is oil burning. im in the business of engine repairs.
jeffrey gussman and then there is white for when its a steam engine.
black for too much gas , blue when oil burns, steam that smells sweet from tailpipe is when antifreeze enters combustion chamber, like cracked head/block or blown head gasket .....pretty simple!
i know, we have a garage and we restore classics and oldtimers i've seen every colour of smoke :)
It wasn't the clutch?
blue smoke, well that car is on its last leg
yea OR the car has pretty much power. that blue smoke isnt dangerous...
Marcus svedman That's oil that's burning, not fuel. The turbo's a goner
Shadowboost SMH... NO THATS GAS! DO YOU EVEN TURBO???
Landon Harrington
Gas would be black smoke. Oil is blue smoke. Go do a simple google search, blue smoke oil
In high hp builds its pretty common to have an increased ring end gap leading to alot more burnt oil. I can't tell here but its either that or the turbo is going. This car did last a long time after this video before being sold though.
She handles that like a champ.
Your mom is a badass. You know what's funny, my mom is exactly like that. She loves driving my 350z lmao it's hilarious man.
