    Learning the old stuff in school over and over again leads to nothing. You are right saying that waiting that long makes people disconnected from the real thing around. Some educational systems are petrified beyond imagination. On the other hand, it's good to have one rather than none.

    Your lessons are some of the best out there. Personally I like the longer videos and your mix of experiments followed by the theory/math brilliant!
    I really hope the younger kids find these videos. I had some excellent teachers/professors in my younger years and it really does make a difference. Your methods and explanations are easy to learn & understand. I've always loved science but you actually make Math interesting and much easier to learn!
    Again.. Awesome Lessons!

    I truly enjoy your videos because you explain complex topics in such an understandable and engaging way. Even though Einstein’s theory of relativity is naturally complicated, you make it much easier to follow.
    I’d love it if you could create a detailed, in-depth video explaining some of its challenging concepts, no matter how long it needs to be. For instance, in Newtonian physics, we understand that gravity pulls objects down. However, I find it difficult to fully grasp how, in Einstein’s framework, the Earth seems to accelerate upward to meet a falling object, even though the Earth itself doesn’t expand. Similarly, concepts like spacetime, how objects follow the shortest path, and how gravity warps spacetime are fascinating but a bit hard for me to wrap my head around.
    Your ability to break down such topics is incredible, and a thorough explanation would be amazing to watch and learn from. Thank you so much for your time and dedication to sharing knowledge-your channel and videos are absolutely fantastic!

    Please do continue explaining energy translations as your methods & use of language help with giving algebra physicality & at same time stay close to physics of what is really happening. Thank you for another great tutorial

    An old time sling shot would have been ideal for this demonstration. You would not have to cut or burn the string since you just turn one end of the sling shot loose and the stone sails off at the tangent you release it at!

    This was very good, it explains another mystery to me that was on tv, where the light from stars were in a different location on an eclipse, where the sun was there , but covered by the moon. 😊

    It is said the greatest scientists are the ones who put the most complex ideas into the most understood and plain language that all can understand. Thanks for another great video , the brick breaking free and following a straight path was marvelous.

    Hi! I purchased your monthly subscription on your website and it has been the most helpful thing ever. Thank you so much. But for calculus one is there going to any new video out soon? On things such as using the first and second derivative to sketch a graph and learning about optimization problems?

    • @MathAndScience
      @MathAndScience  4 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Yes, eventually I’ll resume that series and get into all of that stuff. Just need to find the time but in the meantime, definitely do all of the existing calculus one material that I have. It’s pretty comprehensive as it is, but I created the new course mostly because there were some applications I never covered the first time. Which is what you mentioned there. But all the derivative of an interval stuff that I have is absolutely central stuff with lots of problems. Take care and thanks so much.

    There is a video by All Things Physics that shows for a moment the wt will actually continue in a circle and then move in tangent line. It stays in a circular path until the tension wave propagates down the string. This happens for a very short time. If you use a stinky it takes more time.

      @MathAndScience It seems that if the release happens at the wt end that tension wave effect doesn't happen. As shown at the beginning of this video when the knot came loose.

    That’s the method I used to send the radiowaves and connected a speaker and a mic in series while listening to the JFK debates and it distorted the video I was watching, and you can hear the interference on his mic, I think it only works on the live broadcasts though!

    The only question I have, is they know what the stars look like at night, compared to when the moon covers the sun in the day, on an eclipse, wouldn’t the stars be in different spots in the horizon due to the rotation of the earth? From night to day?

    No gravity in deep space?? Really.? Surely there is, just its very weak if you are a long way from another large object. Otherwise the Newton gravity formula is wrong.

    • @divermike8943
      @divermike8943 6 วันที่ผ่านมา

      He probably meant negligible gravity in deep space. But lately there are some new theories about long long long distant gravity might not follow Newton gravity law exactly at such galactic distances. This in an attempt to explain the expansion of the universe without using dark matter. But these are just theories same as dark matter.
