Ok, I’m back 5 years later to decode this map. This is just a theory, so no bully! My theory that all the jumpscares are hallucinations, from the dolls the that doctor dread had made. Also, when the doll appeared in the hallway when dan was going into the elavator, that could also be a hallucination. My other theory is that the protagonist is in a coma, which would also explain the hallucinations.
