long skirts are definitely having their moment in my wardrobe 🤩 i never really got into them before, and definitely long/wide leg pants like you mentioned :)
Hey Jamie, loved the video. Was wondering if there was any possibility you can do a styling video for the Levi’s Ribcage Straight Ankle jeans? I recently got a pair myself, however I’ve been struggling how to style them. Perhaps they just don’t look as nice on a shorter/curvier frame but I am willing to try and give it another go.
Thank you so much! And yes, would be happy to do a video styling those jeans :) Perhaps a week of outfits wearing them. I'll add it to my video list but just as a heads up it'd likely not be up until sometime next month (especially with the move back into our home - woohoo!) xx
I’ve always enjoyed your videos but the past year your style evolution has really resinated with my own (and what I want mine to be) so keep up the great content and I’m looking forward to more insight and styling inspo. Love from Canada 😊
Love the Levi Ribcage, they are my absolute favourites! I have them in my actual size and also a size up, the size up gives a slightly looser fit (obviously) but don’t look like they’re too big, if that makes sense ❤
Oooh I love this! And I still can't believe I didn't get onto them sooner. They're such a nice jean, and Levi's is one of those brands you can always rely on. Trying to resist the temptation to add them to my closet in multiple colours LOL
I've been thinking of adding long wide trousers to my wardrobe and love the ones you showed here! I noticed the ones you have seem to touch the floor at the hems - have you found any issues with that and is that a length you would recommend? I was debating on whether I should get wide-leg pants that touch the floor (nice drapey look, but also worried about them getting dirty/dragging/frayed), or keep the hems at least 1/4" above the floor.
Hello from Texas, was wondering how the Venroy set is holding up with washing and wear? Love the set so much and would be perfect for our warm climate. Thanks
Hi Lauren! Actually will be talking about this soon in an upcoming most worn video - I've washed mine quite a number of times and have found that it's pretty much the same after washing, but the linen does seem to have worn slightly?
Great video, thanks! It is a shame that Farfetch has only been offering discounts to NEW customers. :( Love the flow pants..they're so comfortable too.
I know they have extended it to *all* customers in the past (and their spend and saves tend to be for all customers) - that said, their sale is really good at the moment 🙊 spotted my Frankie shop blazer and pants are both 50% off 👏🏻👏🏻
I realize this is not a new video, so I'm not sure you will read this. However, I have REALLY been frowning for a long time when most youtubers claimed that cropped jeans & pants made their legs appear longer. I always thought it was The Emperor's New Clothes. Meaning I ALWAYS thought longer pant legs made your legs look longer. I am 5'1, so it is a subject I have always paid attention to.
I see every comment, even on the old videos! OMG. And yes, I am guilty of making that claim and I now see the error of my ways. I love that analogy, LOL! xx
@mademoiselle I am Danish and the fairy tale was written by the Danish author Hans Christian Andersen. He has written lots and lots of wonderful fairy tales. They are actually for both children and grown ups. There is ALWAYS a double meaning in his stories for grown ups too. If I remember correctly you have a son. You could read it to him 😉
1-2 years ago you had a personal style and suits To your body . But now you seem more trendy but lees aıthenticity and personal style . This big and wide clothes is ilke your dad clothes
I think it's also worth remembering that I went through a pretty massive life change - becoming a parent - combined with being solely at home for the better part of the last 2.5 years, so only naturally the type of clothing I will want to. be wearing on a daily basis is centred more around comfort. Personal style is transient, so naturally as we age or go through shifts in our lifestyle, we might find ourselves favoring different silhouettes etc. While absolutely, there are more of those trendier silhouettes in my closet right now, for me I also see them as being enduring (like the wide leg trouser, those softer muted colours, mixing metals, wearing caps etc). It's funny because when I look back at some of my outfits from 2 years ago, what I am seeing are outfits which to me feel tired. There's a lack of modernity - something that I've been craving and perhaps this is a side effect of having kids and wanting to take ownership over something that is just my own (ie. self expression through what I'm wearing). I mean, I wore skinny jeans for close to two decades - still not opposed to wearing them (they're just in storage right now), but I'm finding I prefer something straighter cut right now. And that's totally okay. I'd say part of this fatigue is probably also down to how the social media cycle moves so quickly, though that's a much broader and nuanced discussion that I could spend hours going through 😅

OMG YES! I am really into those longer length skirts too. Thinking of doing a styling video on them... :)

Fantastic video! Those 3 trousers at the start are stunning. Loving that iro skirt too.
Thanks so much Maria! So interesting to take a look back :)

What brand and style are the cream jeans at 8:26? Loveeee them
Those are the Weekday Rowe jeans - I've linked the exact ones I'm wearing in the description xx
