If this was launching with all factions fully supported, I would preorder. As it is, I’ll be waiting until BoS, Enclave, Caesar’s Legion, NCR, Super Mutants, and all the others are full supported in game.
Sounds like no campaign, no solitaire.. just one off battles that will be as forgettable as playing any boardgame 10 minutes after finishing. If so, I'll pass.
There's a campaign in the book similar to a Necromunda/Warcry campaign that isn't dependant on the players you play (your gang progresses rather than an overall group narrative). No solo play out of the box (it's designed to be a more competitive type of game) but a D10 based AI grid shouldn't be too challenging to do if you feel so inclined (you might even be able to assign numerical values to the FWW AI cards, come to think of it, because they're based off images on a custom D20). I for one, am in because I can see a lot of crossover and homebrew potential in this even before Modiphius get the follow up wave out.
There are a few rumours knocking about that 2nd edition is around the corner. I think Factions fits the fast play PVP missing from the wider WW system. I thought the names were from the games but I've not played them for a very long time.
@@hobby_quick They are my bad. The names are from the Wave 9 Nuka Cola so I was off on that one. I see what they did. Basically you can still use the minis in either system. So I have a battle report up on my channel from last weekend and I can see why they may need this now. The game was fun but it took a LONG time to get kills and models are tough in WW. I had not played in a while and forgot that aspect. So yeah I have to yield here and correct myself. Thanks!
@@ChitsandCrits No worries my dude. I can understand your initial viewpoint if you are a fan of the OG WW! Definitely space for both, but I will hold off from WW until 2nd edition. I think I'll be jumping right in to Factions though! Hurry up July 12th... I'll be sure to check out your channel, I love a bat rep.

Pass. Why is this needed why not work on Wasteland warfare? Also the faction names are lame and not relatable
