- August 13, 2016 garden tractor pull at the Washington County Pennsylvania Agricultural Fair. The final class of the pulling event was rained out so my camera moved to the indoor fairgrounds arena which was hosting a Pedal Power Pull.
This is just cool on so many levels. For the kids. The future of the country and just the pure fun of it.

Not much
It depends on the weight class . Can be as much as a 1000 lbs
I did this for 7 years. On average bout 1200lbs

I don't know if your kids looks always that serious, but they don't seems to be enjoying the ride... Maybe that gal at 1:03:49 is enjoying, but she don't looks very young...

These are riding lawn mowers. My garden tractor would pull that thing to the next state. I wouldn't use those things in my garden because it's not high enough to clear the plants or pull any of my equipment. When is the next pull? I'm bringing my Massey Fergeson garden tractor.

Should have a helmet even though they are not going fast it teaches the kids safety even if its just a bike helmet
Most of the events I've attended since that one always use helmets. At that point, it's equally important to have the helmet strap adjusted properly, so it's tight enough to do any good.
We did this for 7 years those kids should be in long pants n helmets

In most pulls I've seen recently, they are wearing helmets. In any case, if they aren't strapped-on tight enough, they won't work as intended.

I understand what you're saying, but I've only seen one person fall off one of these garden tractors and that was a middle-aged man whose main injury was embarrassment. Also, most of these events now require crash helmets.
Lock your kid inside their bedroom, it's your right. But don't tell what other people can do with their own kids.
