It's crazy how much better the japanese videogame magazines are than where I grew up. I really love the big high quality concept art everywhere. So nice.

The thing about the girls on the covers is both interesting and strange. I would have never thought it was a video game magazine if I only looked on the covers (when they wasn't cosplaying). So fun with Kanno on the cover. I recently watched Uchi no Musume wa, Kareshi ga Dekinai!! and recognized her at first sight, haha!
I really like the story about your Wizardry cartridge. Genghis Khan 2 is an awesome game. Thanks for Hanjuku Hero, I didnt know about that rts game and for Valken, last year I saw a picture about one of the mechs and I got curious. I dont know about your plans for the magazines but here is an idea: compile all the articles in chronological order of a game you like and make a video about the general contents or publish the translations.
Good to know that you liked it! I think I learned about this magazine shortly after I got my Wizardry I. The magazine was called Hippon (or Famicom Hissyoubon) at the time. Few years later they renamed it as Hippon Super probably because Super Famicom was released. Also thanks for the suggestion! Doing it in chronological order is definitely something I'm interested in too. I was thinking to make videos by issues but your idea sounds interesting too :)
I'm really curious about the Mother 2 feature, since I don't recognize that art and it's a very different style than you typically see for the Mother series. Also, I really the cover art on that last issue. Thanks for sharing with us. Even though I can't read Japanese, I wish I could just page through these and drink in the art and just the general design and look.
