Tip for "APS-C mode" (3:09) : If you are shooting in RAW, the data outside the crop is not lost, you can access it later in post (it's just hidden by default on the preview) If you shoot JPEG then the outside data is lost
I am not sure about that, I have been using the APS-C Crop mode a lot and when reframing in Lr the outside data is not there. Also the shutter sounds different so I guess it really uses only a smaller part of the sensor

Is there an ergonomic button setup that separates eye AF from normal AF using two different buttons? For me, this was the dealbreaker in choosing the A7C II over the A7 IV? Thanks!
Yes. Some Japanese models don't necessarily have English as an option. I know the RX1 is like that. Also, maybe he's learning Japanese and it's none of our business. Either way I'm sure you can figure out what he's doing, you seem like a smart fella. 👋
@@adriensanguinettiyeah, hate that. That's the reason I couldn't buy A7cII in South Korea despite the fact it was like 400EUR cheaper. No English and no PAL/NTSC switch is a bummer 😢

J'ai commencé la photo avec un Ricoh GR3, mais à force d'écouter toutes tes vidéos j'ai très hâte de mettre la main sur un A7CII avec une lens 85mm! Je dis ça comme ça, mais ça serait vraiment cool si tu faisais d'autres vidéos de post-prod dans Lightroom. Are the international cameras in Japan more expensive than the Japanese local ones? Because I know you can get English version ones but you have a Japanese menu.
@@adriensanguinetti Yeah, if you go to Yodobashi and ask for an international version they can get it for you but if I'm not mistaken it is a bit more expensive.

Interesting 🤔 I have my A7Cii set up completely different. 😂 I love that Sony allows full customization. I have mine set up so that when I press the center button, it engages the D pad as an up/down left/right joystick.

Can’t switch the camera to any other languages 😅 with the yen the camera was cheap but only Japanese in it, I guess it is for regulatory reasons
