It's crazy, but I'll say it. If you look at many of the Bears QB records for career you see Cutler's name. That would be the best trade in history due to it being a QB who set many franchise records!
despite under achieving and giving up 2 1st round picks, When looking at the 2010 & 11 drafts no one really stands out that would have helped the Bears much more than Cutler did although Orton turned out to be a decent Journyman/ replacement level QB.
What the heck does what Houston did last year have anything to do with the Bears' trade of the #1 pick last year? Who cares what Houston did? The trade is going to go down in Bears history as Tom said. Period. Even after this year's picks, there still is Carolina's #2 pick next year.
Danny… Sweat turned the Bears defense around. Did Anderson! Nope, are you sure about will Anderson better than Sweat…. NO I don’t know what games you were watching but Sweat is twice the DE as Anderson and that’s a fact! Carolina didn’t guess wrong they had no one for him to throw to or block for him. Did you watch any of those games🤔 no you didn’t! We need a center not tackle, why are you asking a Bears great such dumb 🫏questions? Oh and as always…🐻🔽
Plus if you take Stroud you don't have DJ, Dexter, Wright, or Caleb. Imagine Stroud with Claypool and Mooney, no Wright, no Moore, lol. Im sure he'd still be good but its complete hindsight bias. Fields deserved one more year.
@@philsplip7357 I laughed uncontrollably when the Bears traded the #1 pick last year just to give you an idea. I called it a terrible move then and Im still calling it a terrible move now. Caleb Williams aint it. The only question is who they drafting to replace him in 2027?
@@williamhermann6635 Yeah im sure pal. Thats why you’re a GM, right? Its so unbelievably obvious but every single NFL talent evaluator just cant see it. Lmao. The probability of Caleb being good is probably similar to Stroud regardless of your hindsight bias

I can not wait to see what Poles does at #9. We have so many good options.
As long as George and Virginia keep out of things, it will be. But if they don't, things will turn to crap
1965 trade that got BUTKUS and SAYERS
They had to trade in some way to get Sayers and Butkus together
That changes this year. Everyone sees it. Even you!

Dan Hampton for Wally Chambers-1979
The best trade ever was last year. It's not even a debate.
Stephenson and next year's panthers 2nd need to be factored in too.

@@philsplip7357Yeah Id rather have Stroud.
