My dad drove Teamster back in the 70s. When this song 1st came out - he and I sang it duel. He wasn't a Christian (at that time) and I was. We'd get to the part about the 11 Long-Haired Friends of Jesus - and he would hug me and spin me around in a circle! This song is one of my fave memories. I'm from Europe and almost 40 and ever since I was a kid trucks have been my biggest passion in life. Wherever there were trucks in the neighbourhood I was there and I watched just about every trucking movie out there. Even though I love European trucks a whole lot there's just something so uniquely special to me about the big rigs and trucker culture of America. I don't know why I never became a truck driver but I will always have utmost respect towards truckers. God bless all truckers and their awesome machines.

I'm a trucker's daughter. I grew up going on the road with my dad and driving on the highways. I miss the days of the CB radio. if i was lucky my dad used to let me talk on the radio to the other nearby truckers on the highways.

My cousin was a trucker. Miss him dearly. No, he didn't die from trucking; he was thrown off his horse. He used to tell me all about his travels and stopped by his aunt's house, my mom on one occasion. My prayers for all truckers and their families.
My father-in-law was a truck driver. I never met him because he died before my wife and I started dating. Have classmates from high school who are long haul truck drivers. It's not an easy job or life.

I'm a trucker's daughter. I grew up going on the road with my dad and driving on the highways. I miss the days of the CB radio. if i was lucky my dad used to let me talk on the radio to the other nearby truckers on the highways.

My cousin was a trucker. Miss him dearly. No, he didn't die from trucking; he was thrown off his horse. He used to tell me all about his travels and stopped by his aunt's house, my mom on one occasion. My prayers for all truckers and their families.

My father-in-law was a truck driver. I never met him because he died before my wife and I started dating. Have classmates from high school who are long haul truck drivers. It's not an easy job or life.

I grew up listening to the original version of this song by CW McCall. This is not a bad cover at all; probably the best cover version of this song I have ever heard.
Same here. I remember first listening to the CW version of *"Convoy"* when I was about 4 yrs old, between the time the song was released and the time the movie of the same name came out, and loving it. I reckon CW would love Paul Brandt's version of *"Convoy".*

This is a fun cowboy with truckers film. lighthearted comedy about sticking it to the man. tongue in cheek. the so called freedom convoy was a serious as shit protest against keeping us safe from a deadly virus that thankfully because of responsible people wasn't worse.
