Ha! I did the meanie greeny in my last video too! I used the posh yarn and the sweet snuggles, you should check it out because the size difference was insane. You can actually see it in the thumbnail if you don’t feel like watching. 😉
I am new to crochet and I am really enjoying all of your videos. I just got some parfait chunky yarn to try one of the patterns you showcased a week or two ago. Do you have any tips on tightening the magic ring with this yarn? I broke the yarn at least three times last night. I finally got it to work, but if you have any tips or tricks I would love to hear them. I haven't had that issue with any of the acrylic yarns I have used. Thank you for all the inspiration! I am really enjoying this new hobby!
So happy I was able to inspire you! I find with magic circles in parfait chunky if I start tightening it after the first couple stitches within the ring it will secure better. For example if your pattern calls for six sc in a ring if you start tightening the ring around the second or third sc you will have less trouble getting it all the way tight when you have all 6 added. Does that make sense? I know some people will also use acrylic with their chenille yarn to assist with the magic ring but I habe never tried that method. Happy crocheting and let me know if you understand or if I should add it to one of my videos. 😊
I love the mouse 🐭💙
