Would love to see you play more Lizardmen. They’re my favorite faction thematically and it would be awesome if you single-handedly brought up their win rate and made them one of your mains!
Their current winrate is 47% so they aren't in that bad of a place at the moment. Tzeentch, DoC, Nurgle, and Kislev are currently the main factions in the dumpster.
it was really nice to see how your army handled a situation they werent designed for. but that is what i love about this gamemode. you dont KNOW what your enemy brings, you can only guess based on experience/ meta. but there still can be surprises and then you have to improvise with what you got. really brings these battles to life
Feral cold ones can be great in domination when you need to clear weakened troops off an objective or get to squishy archer units. They're faster and hit harder than skink cohorts, and are a lot cheaper than cold one riders. Sure, they die pretty quickly, but getting them back is rarely a problem.
Chameleon stalkers 'can' be a fantastic unit, what they really have going for them is their shock damage, their utility with stalk and RDR as well as the high melee defence. It's one of those units that can roll up, blast half their counterpart away and then just tarpit them for eternity.
seems like you got the Amaxon barbs mixed up with the umbral tide! love to see more lizards! my two favorite factions to play right now are lizards and khorne and i love to see it
I feel chameleon stalkers get slept on due to their price. They are one of the few odd hybrid units if you compare them to other skinks they are much better in combat defense and ranged defense while not having bad melee(though not great in any way) stalk and other chameleon stuff makes them sneaky and harder to shift than I feel many people suspect.
Having 1 or 2 Chameleon Stalker is really good in certain Matchups. Oftentimes the Back/Side Objectives is only guarded by a Deckhandmob f.E. or something similar cheap, maybe with Spears. And Stalker have Stalk + Vanguard. So they can sneak up and obliberate half of a light Armor Unit with their blasting Charges.
"Vanya. Why are we in a desert full of dinosaurs?" "You see Gregori, when you are of soldier like me you never of ask question. We fight marauders. We fight rat people. We fight flying undead bats. We of never ask question. Even when we fight bloated fart demons, we of never ask question. Why are dinosaur of concern?" "Wow Vanya. You are of much wisdom" *gets head taken off by Skink chief on a ripperdactyl*
Lizardmen are a pain to play, because you need to micro so much to make them work: basically, "overpriced, low cap limit, paper-mache armor, or desperately needs micro. Pick two."
Chameleon stalkers aren't great damage dealers (outside a lucky precursor volley), but they are surprisingly durable for a stalking unit, which i think is their true strength in pvp. Those things can hold extremely well for their price point.
What I've noticed about these maps is how flat they are. Hardly a hill or a mound, just anvil flat with some pretty shrubbery here and there and maybe some rocks to break up the monotony. Even then, they're usually off on the periphery.
Hey John, I made the map mostly flat specifically because I was already gimping ranged factions with the LOS blockers and trees. I didn't wanna completely screw guns. Plus I wanted armies to be visible to each other except when using the forest, rather than hill cover. My second map I made for this latest Map Pack patch uses a lot more hills and elevation rather than forests. Hopefully that one is shown soon.
I’m trying to make lizards work but man it’s hard to win. Played via VC and out valued him so hard at the start but just could not keep the steam going. Crumbling needs to do way more dmg.
I’m a noob so maybe a dumb question, why does he so often talk about the value lead and how healing changes it up when the UI also shows the army value on the field? Surely that’s exactly the metric he keeps seeming to try to infer
Find it in the steam workshop, click subscribe. Next time you start WH3, while in the launcher window, click mods and turn on the map pack, then start the game as usual. Done.
Shoutout to Bob Dat Builder for the new map!!
Glad you like the map. Thanks for showing it off!
BIG thumbs up for more Turin lizards
One of the more fun fractions, without being to powerful in any one way.
Indeed :)
As an Empire and Lizard men main this action has my consent.

I really enjoyed it!

lil armor piercing lizard hounds
Kinda slow for dog/cav role.

Yeah Stalkers feel like a staple unit for the roster. Having vanguard on a melee unit for the lizards alone is huge.
PLEASE keep playing Lizards Turin! They are such a fun faction to watch and they’d add great versatility to your Tourney squad
Tempel Guards? Damn been a while I saw those guys in action.
I'm back baby! Wait.....where did I go?

Very good and lengthy games lately, mostly decided at the last minute. Thank you for making my evenings more entertaining Turin, cheers!

Best thumbnail and title I’ve ever seen! LOOOOL 10/10
Moar Lizardmen please! Always a soft spot for them as they were the first Warhammer I ever bought.
Good day when Turin uploads😎 joint+ tww3 videos = good night
I wonder if the ROR saurus spears could be good in this matchup with the aoe missile resist

@@b.o.b7197 Just an observation, not a criticism. If it sounded that way, it was not the intention.
@@johndane9754 Oh no offense taken at all. I was just explaining the map's logic. I enjoy any feedback, so feel free to criticize lol.
Something fun about these two factions fighting. Never happens in IE lol
Kroq-Gar is always just a joy
Is there like any pro player who mains lizardmen who one could watch to learn more?
I miss rubber duck of war :(
Same :(((
What happend to rubber duck?
@@Jarney_ nothing bad, he just hardly makes any videos anymore because he has too much work :)
Love me some Lizardmen!

The Amaxon Barbs do not have stalk, you're thinking of the Umbral Tide the Salamander RoR
love the lizard games
Cool map. Great battle.
Kislev is way over dressed for this climate
Lizard W ❤
I feel like its been a while since a Lizardboii W.
Awesome game!
How do I use the map pack?
Find it in the steam workshop, click subscribe. Next time you start WH3, while in the launcher window, click mods and turn on the map pack, then start the game as usual. Done.
Yeeesss do et. Play lizards please.
cool match
ggwp fun one
In game 2 I hated playing against LM, now in all my campaigns on game 3 I stayed far away from them, this battle proves me right.
Kroqy Barboa*
Oh no! Kislevites getting outmatched!?
Who would have thought...
