I just finished my Fleur robe and this tutorial was so helpful! This is only my second garment ever and I found the instructions on moods website to be very lacking for a beginner. So glad I found your video, thanks for sharing!

Thank you so much! I printed the pattern and read Mood's instructions but they weren't very clear to me as a beginning sewer. I really appreciate how you showed all the French seams and advice about where to press everything and stitch down.

I've been looking for a sew along as instructions are unclear on the Mood Fabrics page. This will be my weekend project, thank you.

@@SabrinaLeeSewing I finished the robe successfully, thank you! Although the sleeves are way too large :( Still wearable though.

@@wanjiruthoithi5047 awesome! I'm also relieved to hear that I'm not the only one who found the sleeves WAY too large...

Me too! Their instructions aren't very clear as a beginning sewer.

Thank you for the great tutorial! I haven't inserted a sleeve in about 30 years, so your demonstration is going to be a big help.
About how much ease would you say is in the pattern? My high bust is 37" and bust is 40". I'm also 5'2", so I'm tempted to make the size for the 39 1/2" bust.
I'm also going to paper fit it and will likely make a muslin and shorten the sleeves.

Thank you! I'm not really sure how much ease there is, but I will say that the design seems SUPER oversized to me. I think I cut the size that the size chart indicated would fit me, and I feel like I am swimming in the robe. My recommendation would be to start one size down, then paper/tissue fit it and see how that fits.

Love, love this.... Is there a pattern available for a male robe? Have been in search for one. You know when u can't make something for you and not hubby too. Please help

This robe pattern would work for men too, I think. There's no shaping in the bust area so I think the robe pattern is unisex.
