I think its gonna dip even lower once people realize that its 70% bulk rares with a buncha "used to be 30-40 dollar cards" that are now gonna be $15-25 after this reprint.

I'd recommend some soft boxes or indirect lighting for videos that feature foil-heavy openings. The glare from your light source (your phone's light or a ring light, I think?) is washing out the images and text of the cards. You could probably get some photography lighting kits for under $60.

If you're not familiar they did the same thing with last years double masters 2022. As for double masters 2022 the cost was justified because the packs were loaded with bomb hits. Cant say much about this set, if its anywhere close to double masters its worth the price. This box was more on the meh side buts this is the first opening ive seen so not sure if its an outlier

Man this sure will make many people cancel their preorder... Anikthea as an example needs Token Doublers, Populate and Mill. The deck as it is isnt good enough. If Anikthea, Composer of Spring, Demon of Fate Design and Boon of the Spirit Realm can be found in boosters, then the rest of the deck is general Enchant matter stuff, which many players already have... Everyone was under the impression every precon had 10 cards bound to be unique for a while, not to be printed in the same expansion boosters but much later.

Sadly it wont budge the singles market all that much. The professor put out a great video explaining why. They put the high price point on the sealed product to hold the single prices so they can include them in future sets and charge far too much for that set. Why do you think we never saw reprints for the commander "free spell" cycle that came in the pre-cons? WoTC could have included it any of the pre-cons they released since those cards came out, but chose not to. WoTC finds the expensive cards and reserves them for sort print run sets to hold value so they can try and fuck us with it again. They are scumbags, we need to accept that and boycott them.

Where are these things printed? I saw draft were US, Set are Belgium. are the collector boosters US as well, it looked like it. anyway, Reprint sets are trap, just buy singles.
@@Luxorcist Collectors shouldn't even like foils. I can't believe that they do. They effectively have zero value. They look horrible, it makes the cards too opaque. Effectively destroying the art. I was forced to get the Godzilla lands in foil, and they suck ass. They needed a non-foil version. It was one of the only Secret Lairs that they didn't print in non-foil. ALL Commanders need to be non foil. They are printed on the cheapest shit imaginable. They are unreadable. Wizards somehow forgot how to make good foils. Even in direct sunlight when our star is at zenith, the foils look like trash.
Personally I think the collectors seem like a pretty reasonable gamble. Double masters 22 collectors gave me similar vibes and got pretty sparce/expensive early on.
Garbage box I'm super happy they added all this bulk in the rare and mythic slots. Whatever will the drafters do if they're unable to assemble yet another Valduk, or Rishkar deck like the ones they've played in Dominaria Remastered and other recent sets not even a year old.
