@@barnabyslater_ for the right price (30-35 mil +add one tied to appearances) I’d consider toney it is a risk with the baggage but he fits well with the style of play and would buy time for veliz or lanshear. In a perfect world vlahovic or gykores but I’m not certain we would pay enough for them

Hi Sir B, I'm struggling to see how Eze fits into our system? Fantastic player, all the same, and great players adapt, for sure. Whatever we decide, for me, if Ange wants him, then the Board must get him, without question. We have FFP/PSR capacity. No excuses. But, I repeat, any additions MUST be who Ange wants. #COYS

I think if we can get the dribbly wingers and Eze in, we can use Sonny, Veliz and Richarlison as 9s, also getting Scarlett and maybe Parrott some minutes up front in Europa games. Even use Kulu as a false 9 perhaps? Perhaps with more pressure from the outside especially against low block defense it could open up space around the box.

Yeah I love the idea of getting some of these high potential young players in particularly where we have strong established first team players and European games this season. It means they will get games to convince and hopefully prove strong challengers
I like that we have been linked with Doue, Dorgu. Kayode, Hackney and more recently Jobr Bellingham and would be happy enough to forgo a LCB if we could get those two young full backs in to challenge Porro and Udogie.
Drags wants to play and though a RCB he looked comfortable enough on the left so he could get the game time he craves covering both, plus we would have Davies as a cover LCB if needed plus I imagine one of Phillips or Dorrington depending on the loan situation

Never trusted in Richarlison, i wouldnt give him a chance-i'd replace him while we can still get big money for him. Adding a striker like toney will bring another dimension to our game, not just on the playing field, psychologically as well ! We will be Toneys biggest team he played for in the highest lvl of football, and btw he is in his peak years! Added we buy another offensive creative player like Eze, we can hope for a way of football we havent seen in years imo!
With Kane's luck, England will win the whole thing if they drop him.

Don't you think that most of the football, by all teams, is dross because all the players are simply knackered after the last season. It's crazy, imo, that the players has little or no rest/holiday after the season before starting the Euros. It would be much better the start the new season with the Euros and ditch the winter break?

Ange is perplexing. His words do not seem to match his actions. I am fast losing the initial excitement of having this 'fantastic dynamic' manager. I can't see us pulling up trees with the squad we now have & I keep hearing a lot of twaddle & hot air from so many deluded fans about this player & that player. It is somewhat tedious & predictable to have to listen to these fantasies year after year. I doubt if we'll see a dynamically different Spurs to the ones we've seen season after season. I really hope I'm stupidly wrong & we finally have the balls to win a trophy - COYS!!!

With Jude playing Bellingham as a false 9 and bringing in Palmer to start. Concerned with the left back situation- Shaw is no where near fit and Trippier should only be a stop gap at best on the left side. Kane is selfish at times, thinking back of the CL final. He wasn’t fit, but didn’t do what was best for the team. Managers have a problem with dropping him for the good of the team at times.

@@barnabyslater_ That's clever. We're definitely going to need more guile right from kick off against the Dutch and the false 9 with Bellingham would definitely give it to us. I just don't see Southgate being that ballzy. I think staring Toney instead of Kane and bringing him on late would be as far as Gareth would push the boat out...and I kind of doubt he's even that brace.

@@barnabyslater_ well, we have already heard Desire Doue and Jonathan David linked, but they are not too tall... so I think Gianluca Scamacca (striker from Atalanta) might be worth a punt. I wouldn't put too much weight on his time at west ham under moyes since I expect he just ended up being a long ball target there... looked a super star last season in serie A

He can't sign until August 11th. We have a deal on the table that's been agreed in principle though.

No signing is Official until he is 17. At best it is a signal of intent & not binding until he signs after he turns 17 in August, so he is free game to all until then. It is just a worthless piece of paper.

Yes England have not got out of 2nd gear and could win playing badly as the quality of the tournament has been shocking and dreadfully boring with so few goals. It can only get better

I think he is under instruction to stay high to leave space and this is disrupting his normal game where he comes back when his instincts tell him to so he is hard to pick up when he comes back to the final third. His ball to Trippier in the previous game was a world class pass which Tripps crossed early but Foden ran offside and it was disallowed. If that had been executed professionally H would be excused some of the brick bats. There has been a pundits campaign from the outset led by Shearer and Lineker and fans have bought into it. The England players will not have done they know his value. He is the most fouled England player (though Harry got booked for Akanje's foul on him in the last game) which shows that his opponents are terrified of his potential to create and to score.

Veliz has not flopped. Be patient. Johnson had excellent numbers last year.

Johnson had a great goal assist record per minutes played last year. That's not a flop. Veliz is a striker & they need time.
Kane failed a number of times on loan until it clicked. Sess was cruelled by injury which you can't control, but was a solid pick as young player of the year.
Both Ndombele & Spence were fan driven signings.
Bellingham was a wonder kid as were Messi, Christiano, R9, Fabregas, Yamal, Mbappe, Vincinius Jr, Neymar, Mainoo, Foden, Palmer etc.
Under your logic we should take 15M for Mikey Moore, Donley or Lankshear as they are just wonder kids & are not worthy of risk.
