They don't have psychologist in Mongolia. They have wrestling and street fighting to deal with mental health. Get punched on the head enough and you forget what the original issue was. Therapist don't exist in country's that figure out mental health issue on their own terms. This is just a meltdown after very emotional rush of adrenaline crash. Anyone would be broken mentally if this was you in that situation. These guys train for years for this moment. And for 3 seconds to take that away from you is heart breaking. But this is a learning experience and he will now know to wrestle in till the buzzer sounds to end match. Especially if the score is that close. Never back away in freestyle wrestling, most refs will give you a caution and points to other opponent.
Mongolian wasn’t circling, he ran away. Proper circling involves engaging the other wrestler, i.e. reaching a hand out (to stuff a takedown), getting underhooks, etc.
Instead, he did something no wrestler should ever do. He didn’t even try to conceal how happy he was. Stop the video at 9:04. He was taunting while playing “catch me if you can!”
The last thing the sport of wrestling needs is to teach others this is “ok” to do whenever time is short during a match. When you say nothing is wrong, you diminish the sport and make it a joke. Accepting it means we all end up watching future generations of clowns on the mat playing a chase game at the end of close matches.
This punishment was the correct decision by the referee. He broke at lease one rule. The actions speak loudly, and save the sport from future embarrassment.
With all the horrendous calls made in favor of UZB this tournament, i would argue that this was the only decent one, although i would not have called it, this uzb lost to 3 people at this tournament but bad, sorry, corrupt reffing gave him these undeserved wins, especially against gomez
So instead of winning because you out wrestled your opponent, you win by a technicality in the last 5 seconds? This was an embarrassment for Olympic wrestling and especially as a combat sport.

So tell me? Where is the first warning? I see the first warning at 9:17, when the match is over and at the same time they gives a point to the Uzbek wrestler. Are you saying that warning comes with +1 point to the opponent in freestyle wrestling? So what is the point of giving a warning, if the referee can randomly add a point?

Maybe next time don't celebrate before you actually have won, and don't run away from your opponent after you been warned two times. You always have to move forward your opponent in freestyle wrestling. Most refs will give you caution and award points to other guy. Just be happy the Olympics don't ban your team for making a big scene on live tv. Hope he learned from this and next time he will wrestle and move forward until the time runs out.

He runned away
Circling isn't fleeing, it's on navruzov to cut off the trajectory of the circle, instead he played victim and pleaded with the refs when he realized there was nothing he could do with less than 5 seconds left. Playing victim was his best shot at winning at that point, when in reality he could've went for the takedown. The refs didn't call fleeing because they intuitively knew he wasn't backing up and navruzov was just salty. When they saw the celebration they changed their mind. Really biased, pretty upsetting.

Это наглое уклонение от борьбы, за пассивное ведение схватки, монгол заслуженно проиграл. Тут не кокого обмана не было. Последние 5 секунд узбек бегал за монголом. Может просто монголу не в борьбу а на легкую атлетику надо было пойти.
