Yes I just subscribed. Can I tell you how many videos I've been watching over the past 2 days on burlap flowers. My fingers are sobtired from pulling out the strings so I was glad to see your method. These are gorgeous flowers and I love them. I will try yours now. I know this tutorial is 4 years old but the flowers are not. I will b looking forward to more of your videos as we do share some of the same interests. I love crocheting and have been doing it since I was 13 I'm now 65 so a long time. I love cooking crafting nature and candle making. So much more that I'd take up to much space. Glad I found you and thank you 4 making this tutorial so easy to follow.
This was so pleasant and enjoyable to watch! Your instructions were so understandable and I like that you didn't over-explain, which makes these videos more difficult for me to follow. I can't wait to make these! Thank you so much!
Beautiful!! I have seen now stores selling flower bouquets using foam. I think these flowers would look beautiful as a bouquet. How would you go about adding a stem to this?
Thanks for your question @kim Klapp. In my opinion, it would not turn out the same because the type fabric used needs to be firm so the flower can hold its shape. Thanks again for watching. Stay Blessed❤❤
Hello Linda, I used the burlap I found in a local fabric store here only in Maine. I don't know the specific type, but I also used some I found on Joann's Fabric.❤❤
I'm sure you can. I would add a stem to the small piece in the center, however for each layer you have to snip the pointy piece at the end or bottom, so the stem can fit right through it. Not sure if in explaining it right, might have to do another video🤔🤔🤔
Thank you ever so much! One last thing, what kind of burlap are you using in this video and your rose video? It does not seem to be regular, rough, smelly (?) burlap that shreds all over....yours almost appears to be cotton or muslin.... I plan on giving these a try for my friends “country chic” bridal shower..... I appreciate you taking the time to help me! Jen
@@Jen-tz5gb I bought my burlap at a store here in Maine called Mardens. I have also bought burlap from Joann's but the weave is a little bit more spaced out. Hope this helps.
Hello Marcella, I don't really have a pattern. I just searched on Google for six petal flower outline, adjusted the size and printed it out at 6 inches. Hope this helps. Take care and stay safe❤❤❤
Hi Elizabeth, I would add the stick when gluing together the smallest petal that goes right in the center of the flower. Just remember to cut the end or tip of the last petal, so the stick can fit through it. Hope this helps ❤❤❤

How do you stop the burlap from fraying please
Okay answered lol
Will these come out ok if you did not stiffen them?
Thanks for your question @kim Klapp. In my opinion, it would not turn out the same because the type fabric used needs to be firm so the flower can hold its shape. Thanks again for watching. Stay Blessed❤❤
What kind of burlap are you using? Having trouble finding the proper burlap.

@@saintroxii Thank you. Really enjoy your tutorials.
Hello! Love these!!! Is there any way to attach them to some sort of “stem”?
I'm sure you can. I would add a stem to the small piece in the center, however for each layer you have to snip the pointy piece at the end or bottom, so the stem can fit right through it. Not sure if in explaining it right, might have to do another video🤔🤔🤔

Love love this! Do you have the pattern available for copying, please?

Just a little tip for you, white glue is a much less expensive option to the Mod Podge and you'll get the same results. I love your tutorials!
I appreciate the tip Merry. I
Will give it a try. Thanks again ❤❤❤
@@saintroxii I used a spray glue .. worked great...
