I’ll be back there next Tuesday. I’m vegan. I usually use M and S supermarket for vegan supplies. On the go food etc. I had a velvet good vegan meal at Pacific Cafe chain. Loving hut !,,,
finally someone who also uses hot water for their oatmeal! xD Anyways thank you for that video! I’m thinking about doing a student exchange year there but I’m a little worried about finding vegan food options. Are all the menus available in English too? Or is just for certain restaurants? Also do you know about food from the grocery store? Is the ingredients list by any chance also bilengual? ^_^
Hong Kong is super easy to navigate and most speak English/ will provide menus in English as well. Same will apply to grocery stores and ingredient descriptions on products but if it’s a chinese product it most likely won’t have the English version
Hi Irene, Did you make it to Hong Kong? I'm just catching up with my TH-cam. And thank you so much for the feedback. I will keep that in mind for future videos as I make progress with editing :)
Really! I had no idea. Is it the same concept? Chinese/Asian food? I love that Texas has so many vegan restaurants. I’ve had the best sushi of my life there and it was all vegan! I think it’s called Blue Dolphin in Fort Worth.
withlovescarleny yup, just to let you know for next time! Fish cakes look kind of like tofu in Korean dishes. And a lot of times Korean dishes have anchovy based soups. It's sad because I love Korean food too!
You've basically whispered into the camera, maybe because you feel self conscious in restaurants or you're trying to be polite to others. However, you've then got the music so loud that the juxtaposition of quiet voice & over powering music rendered this video unwatchable.

Thanks for the recommendations babe!

Happy travels!!!
