Rachel I grew up in Oceanside and moved to NC in 2005… I still have to bundle up when it’s under 50 degrees, I guess my blood runs deep for California weather 😆

I live in the PNW where it isn’t cheaper and it does snow. We all get a little chubby in the winter to stay warm 😂
Yay stainless steel! I loved switching. Know you may need to use a little bit of oil to keep things from sticking if you're used to the non-stick pans. Also, Barkeepers Friend (powder) every once in awhile to keep them from getting dull or from getting that rainbow-y sheen. I hope you enjoy them like we do! Way to prioritize your health and making the switch!

I had the same problem with my non stick pots and pans and went over to stainless steel and realized that not only does it cook things fast but it's easy to burn, went to sauté put a dab of butter and it turned black so had to soak them, I finally got fed up and went to granite nonstick cookware. I wish you tons of luck with your stainless steal and that none of that happens to you.

I bought a set of Carote pans from Amazon we love them we also use our cast iron too. 🙂🐈⬛🐈💖🌈
Make sure to look up how to use the stainless steel pans! You can’t use them like the other pans. You basically have to make sure you preheat the pan. But there’s a way to test it to make sure it’s ready to use.

I’m getting rid of all my old pots and pans too. I bought me Caraway brand pans. They are kind of expensive but worth it.
With the pans it Teflon and pfas that are forever chemicals that a lot of people are worried about, if you went to no sick pan go for a ceramic one as ceramic all thought can chip if nocked are OK to use

Yeah I’m the same but I’m also not from California like the rest of my family. I was born in Connecticut two years after they moved there. 🙂 Winter cold and snow are my favorites. ❄️
@ i hate the cold but i experience -20F to 120F as well as 100% humidity. Extremes on either end suck when being outside long term.

We need to get new pans. Our pots are pretty good. For the life of me, I can't keep a cast iron pan. I try all the things and still ruin them.

Why does Blaze not come in the house?
Because of their cat Stevie. But Blaze loves to stay out there and Rachel is out there all the time as well. Rachel mentioned this in a previous vlog so he’s good and happy 😊

Have you heard of the Hamptons in New York, it snows there and it’s significantly way more expensive to live there than in California and it’s expensive all year round, not just in summer, plus way to sound like those rich pretentious billionaires your trying to take down by not using Amazon by saying that it’s cheaper to live in a colder climate than in La is ignorant, Rachael pssss your overly privileged attitude is showing
