3 years late, but re watching this. but i think the reason they were so big and important to the music industry was because after the early 2000s and the rock era and rock was considered dead, people needed a band who would provide them with a consistent rock and not to mention how their sound is so unique and people needed a fresh new rock sound. and this is exactly that, nothing else. exactly what the rock world needed and was massively delivered. sad to see an amazing band as split up though. but we still love them
