Paula keim: there is no battery in the Kokkia - it runs off the power of whatever it is plugged into. With my iPod classic it can run for about 8 hours.
So you are saying that if the iPod's battery died, the Bluetooth support's battery would also die, and if I charge my iPod it also means that the support would be charged?
Rechargeable batteries like those in iPods progressively lose their duration over time, that is unavoidable and could explain why your iPod with the Kokkia lasts only 2 hours whilst mine can last for about 8 hours.
bought today on amazon. hoping it'll connect my ipod classic to my beats headphones via Bluetooth because my classic has a bad 3.5mm jack. will let everyone know.
Yeh but it sucked the juice aka battery life out quite quick. I was testing it normally i would have alot if power for 12 hours but after using thiz bluetooth battery was almost gone in 3 and half hours of using it. Dont recommend it for long uses otherwise i would have given it a 10 on 10.
In case anyone was wondering it can’t be used with an old 3rd gen iPod, it seems it’s mainly due to the older iPods having different power connections (FireWire) I know because I bought this and tested it. However it will work with the 5th Gen iPod Video and above.
how does it work with bluetooth headphones? because I bought one and the sound is really poor, I listen everything except the music, I bought 3 different headphones and is the same problem with all of them
This will probably work with any BlueTooth receiver/device. I have only used it with the Bose Soundlink but other comments here indicate there are wider applications.
Hi mister TImien. Thank you for your review. What is the production year of your ipod classic please? I wanna get the kokkia too....i have an 2007 september model of ipod classic
I have only used it for my Bose Soundlink Mini but it sould work with all Bluetooth devices. One thing to remember is to stay away from other Bluetooth devices when pairing.
Make sure you are not near any other Bluetooth devices when you are attempting to connect. Once I tried to connect when I was by my iMac which bas BlueTooth keyboard and Mouse and after a while I finally realised whet the problem was. Soon as I moved away from there I was able to connect my iPod and Bose Soundlink
Hi mgoodric01 - thanks for your question. Wish I could provide feedback however I don't have a Bluetooth receiving device in my car. On the other hand I have experienced that pairing between the iPod and SoundLink Mini works best when the iPod is fully charged.

It drains my iPod classic within a couple of hours

Hi i have a question with this adapter can control the volumen up and down? From the ipod
yes. it can control the usual: volume, play/pause, prev/next track
Hi anyone know if this will work with an older iPod 3rd generation which uses the 30 pin connector (same as one in the video) but charges by FireWire?

How do you charge your ipod while using this bluetooth device?
You cannot - must do charging and bluetoothing separately.
@@ThomasTimlenDoes it send out a device ID that can be picked from a menu

Can i use this to pair with bluetooth earbuds?
I would expect it would work for earbuds. I have only used it to pair my iPod Classic with a Bose Soundlink Mini.
Thomas Timlen Months later, have you gotten a chance to pair it with Bluetooth headphones?
I don't have Bluetooth headphones, but above comments show it works with beats headphones.
hello, nice to meet you, I am in Chile, i would like to know if it is to hook the pull on radio with bluetooth audiophones, greetings.
Can you control the ipod from the paired device?
would this work with any bluetooth radio? like could i use this in a newer car with bluetooth radio? or only with this stereo in the video
His iPod is the one that was released in September 2009, but it is very similar to the one that was released in September 2007, so it will work.
How many hours do the battery of Kokkia works?
It has no battery, it draws power from the iPod. I used it for 8 Hours.
Would this work with an iPod mini? It charges via USB.
i dont think so, i recommend getting one with a 3.5 mm jack instead of a 30 pin connector
Is work for AirPod ???
I have only used it for my Bose Soundlink Mini but it sould work with all Bluetooth devices. One thing to remember is to stay away from other Bluetooth devices when pairing.
i llike your hands, cand i have them?
Ha ha! Sure. FedEx is at your door now.
How do you like this device
It does what it is supposed to do, so I like it.
Mine will not pair with earbuds
Hello, how is the sound quality of these?
Connected to anything Bose makes, perfect!
Cannot get it to connect to my JBL charge! Help?

can you use this device for an ipod classic with the beats by dre wireless earphones????
Probably - however I cannot confirm as I have only used it for iPod Classic connection with Bose SoundLink Mini without any problem.
Nice video! Can It be used with wireless headphone without problems?
Had any luck pairing the i10s with the Bluetooth in your car?
Hi mgoodric01 - thanks for your question. Wish I could provide feedback however I don't have a Bluetooth receiving device in my car.

Thomas Timlen can you change the volume and the song using the ipod or do you have to use the sound link to control everything?
Hi Manuel: Yes, the iPod controls can be used to change songs and adjust the volume :-)
Can I buy this from you?
Hi 2chenz - I am not a seller - I bought mine from kokkia.inc_sg on eBay
They are based in Singapore.
Cuánto??? $$$
Didn't really need to see the envelope or your packing slip...
