A well deserved mini vacation. Watched video again and I always find I missed something so it doesn't hurt to watch again. Love all the videos. Have fun Garden Answer Family. ❤❤❤❤
@@connieconley8496 i totally agree, laura wouldnt put her kids on another channel, hope this gets sorted fast, she has her own business partner she wouldnt do this, anyway i report it because its wrong what they did
Bumping up!!!!! Thank you😁 that’s how I learned it. You’re the first one I’ve heard say it that I’m aware of. I know this is silly but a lot of shows out there say potting up? Or close. It’s so alien🫠
Just a side note: if you were to take all of those cuttings from the mums, strip off the bottom leaves, dip them in some rooting hormone and put them in pots, you'd expand the number you have for FREE. They root VERY easily.
@@theglamgram It wasn't for Laura's sake I posted the reply, it was for those who don't know... She can afford more plants, many of us cannot. My Mom was a master judge for the Nat. Chrys. Society and I've been a mum grower since my childhood (I'm now 66). There is a wealth of info on the NCS website for those who wish to know more about the finer points of growing mums.
I watch your videos every night as I clean my kitchen. I am an arthritic gardener with one customer with 1/3 of an acre and lots of flower beds. Thankfully she will never stopbuying plants. You keep me motivated and confident in my approaches to gardening jobs. Thanks Laura and Aaron. Kelly.❤
So confused 🤣 the whole time I’m thinking Mannnnn she just potted those mums up… they needed it again?! And then we get to the boxwoods and I’m like No we planted these already. We planted these! Right? We planted these…? 🤣 and then I realized for sure that we did already plant these.
Always love Laura’s video’s. I follow her on TH-cam. Great info. Because of her I now use Biotone products. Game changer. PS: I just wish they would sell Espoma products in Manitoba Canada 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦 at Home Depot. Thanks again for sharing this with us. Appreciated.💯💯💯🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦

Laura, Watch your videos daily, and over and over, still learning new things every time i watch. Curious, you said, when transplanting the Mums, that you were't sure if you had to "lift them" before winter. Why? We live in Southern Ontario, Canada, and it gets mighty cold here, and Mums are a staple up here. We leave ours in the ground all year.
I have heard, may have tried years ago but can't remember, that you can take those pruned tops and re-pot or put in water to root and have another plant.
Sooo needed this vid , I’m following along with your grape and have my own that I’m training along with you ! My husband cringes every time I grab the pruners 😂 question will we get any grapes , or should I buy some at the store and pretend they grew on my tree😂😂😂 husband never notice😊
The tower boxwood is EXACTLY what I've been looking for. Can you tell me where you bought/ordered them from. I have never seen these before. They perfect for down my fence.
Wow, with that new backdrop, the greenhouse looks like it’s in a completely different location. I’m wondering, would the mums benefit from sitting in a tray of water as opposed to watering them twice a day?
Love following you and its been such an inspirational journey. Quick question, why did you not save the cuttings from the Chrysanthemums and root them. It is my understanding that they root rather easily.
Hi Laura! Question on rose pruning. I have some David Austin’s which unfortunately contracted a fungus this year and defoliated almost all of their leaves. They are still blooming but now look like “second story plants” with all of the healthy growth on top, and all naked below that. Should I cut them all back down pretty aggressively and let them start over? (I have treated the fungus and continue to)
Have you ever tried drying your flowers? My wife makes dried flower arrangements and roses can last for a very long time and make beautiful arrangements.
112? holy cow, I would put those plants under shade cloth stretched across that alley between the barn and greenhouse. Or under a tree until the weather cools down.
Laura you should have a site plan where all your utilities are located on your property. It will save you a lot of grief. For example, you would have known when the electricians were out at your place, to have them take care of moving this at the same time. I don't think it would have to be anything professional. Maybe you and Aaron could make a drawing for reference purposes.
Hi Laura love your channel …I’m often mentioning you … and sharing your videos with my daughter Callista .. who owns a landscaping business .. I tell her about the tops you wear and how you always seem comfortable and I guess your tops are special fabric that help keep you cool … where do you get them and are they a part of your merch yet ?and it seems there is a second under garment with your shirts?

They're on a mini-vacation. Yes old videos
Thank you . I'm glad they got away for some one on one time.
Those tree roses just get beautiful every year 💕💕💕
I love Laura! You couldn’t have partnered with a better person. She is a ray of sunshine in an ever darkening world.
Definitely a repeat video but always nice to re-watch one now and again.
Just really like boxwoods!! They can fit just about anywhere!!!😊

The area where the new boxwoods were planted at outside of Hartley is just glorious! I love that whole area, with the Harley the crown jewel!❤❤❤
Your garden is so much more beautiful Like you Laura thanks
It took me a second to orient myself in the greenhouse. Looking out the back end now all open was great.

I’m sure Laura knows this but is having trouble maintaining these mums she has. 😊

Hey Laura, have you ever thought about boxing in those Colette roses with boxwoods.
Oh Laura, what’s that box doing there where you want to plant? That’s crazy! The ones you planted look great!

Another irrigation box, that is such a bummer.😏😩 Hang in there.😉😁
Beautiful tree rose suggest you use rebar for staking instead of bamboo as the rebar blends in with trunk of bush ..
Second time ! The box dividers are still in their pots to see if Laura likes them, the lawn between the house and the Hartley still in place ...

Yep, seen this before.
Laura, around the 15:50 mar a stone path “to nowhere” is visible. Is this the start of a path around the chicken coop?
Laura! Those suckers from your lolipop Roses you can repot them to create a replacement for your huge lolipops in any case of losing one

112? holy cow, I would put those plants under shade cloth stretched across that alley between the barn and greenhouse. Or under a tree until the weather cools down.
We use trampoline springs for the shade cloth because we get big winds. This allows the cloth to bounce and not tear.
Would it have helped to keep the mums in trays that would hold some water?
Laura, can you root the cuts from the heirloom mums ?

Are the mums patent protected? It would be difficult for me to pinch them back and not try to root the cuttings
I swear i have seen this video before....am i having a crazy deja vu or is this a re-run??

The organic potting mix one ingredient is worm casting does that mean there will be worms in it ?? What is it
Have you guys ever considered putting shade cloth over your greenhouse? Is that a thing?
No Laura you can' have that box there,You did right putting those box hegh foreward then they are in line with the seat ,
Love it x ( u k )
Remember heirloom plants are not copyright so you can propagate the cuttings
Where is Garden Answer today? Friday and I see no video!
