My boyfriend is Canadian Navy (CAF) and currently deployed, I’m ex naval reserves and it’s been hard to connect with military girlfriends/spouses since most of my boyfriend’s buddies aren’t married or in committed relationships. Deployments especially make me feel like very few people truly understand or offer to help. Feels like having a friend who is in a somewhat similar situation!
