Thanks for the informative video. My D-Link DCH-S150 motion sensors are no longer supported, and D-Link doesn't have a dedicated motion sensor available at this time. One thing I liked about the D-Link motion sensor is that it would keep sending me push notifications about every minute while it was sensing motion. Can you tell me if this is similar with the Eufy motion sensor? Does it send push notifications and, if so, does it continue to send at regular intervals while motion is detected?
The system is JUNK because it had NO backup and is completely reliant on your internet connection that can be EASILY cut which renders the "system" a brick and you get NO feedback. notifications, notta!
@@johnszatkowski6898 how if you use wifi> not your regular internet...not sure what state u live but wifi can be purchase separately even as prepaid apart from your cable internet provider nowadays. I would keep the 2 separate so that wifi is strictly for the alarm system and its inexpensive like 10-20 bucks every 30 days pay as u go. if u home u dont need to use, but if u not and away turn it on with the separate wifi.
Yes you can! I have a scheduled set up like that. You can set up a custom alarm that arms the doors only, but not the motion sensors inside the house in case you wake up in the middle of the night to get a glass of water or a midnight snack
You can configure different chimes to sound from the homebase when any of your sensors are activated. But if you're not close to the homebase I doubt you'll hear it. And you get the notification on your phone.
As alert eufy is a soft system a burglar is not scared of! Burglar can switch the alarm off simply by unplug the homebase power plug. The homebase give a little beep so the burglar know were to find it to switch power off. If the Eufy system manage to give an alert sound this sound is inhouse and this sound (beep) is very low. So no one will hear the alarm sound outside the house! 😳 If you also got the Eufy cameras these give also a very low (soft) beep sound and also only for the time this camer see a person (movement). The mostly give an alert sound only for 5 seconds! More Eufy cameras can not sound the alert together by any alert trigger in the Eufy system and the homebase can not set also the alert sound of the cameras when an alert is triggert. Linking all cameras and homebase(s) so that they sound an alarm together is easy to program and is a missed opportunity from makers the Eufy system. Alll in all not a good system for scaring away burglars. An external loud alarm / siren device is missing from the Eufy program and present alert possibilities are not flexible or loud enough to scare burglars.
Late reply. A camera system will never scare burglars if they really want to enter the house. Same with an alarm system with loud sound. The low volume of the alarm will warn the burglar that there is someone watching and he/she have to hurry. But if a burglar must choose a house to break in, then he/ she will choose the house that is the easiest to enter without much drama. So every little thing helps.
I'm getting mixed reviews on the loudness. Some say is extremely loud if you set it in the app, others say its too low. I will still get the system and pair it with my Shows which are EXTREMELY LOUD. My Eufy doorbell rings to the base and to all 6 of my Amazon Shows. So this is something I will see for myself when I receive it.
Just please mak sure you censor your on words when you say "Ok Google" at around 16:45. I have 4 different Google Minis at home and setting off the one in the kitchen made the one in the bedroom speak to my sleeping wife. Spouse approval factor starts at -1.
I created in the Eufy App. a custom mode where only the entry sensors get armed. You don't want the motion sensors setting the alarm off at night while you're at home. Imagine going to the bathroom or a glass of water in the middle of the night and having the alarm waking everybody up.
You did a great job in this video! Thanks so much. Just got four sensors today.

Great video1 Made it super easy to install! Is there any way to turn off all the motion sensor notifications while at home?
Are the strips reliable for mounting? No risk of things falling down with time?
No they are pretty secure just make sure you don’t rip the keypad off the wall and make it stick back.
I would like to have the alarm kit please send me the instructions
Great video just bought this system from Amazon UK thanks

how far away does it have to be from all of the other sensors and camera for it to work properly?
However far as long as both of them can connect to the wifi properly so that it can communicate through the app and sound the alarm.
New sub here! I know I am late to this video, but I have a question: How many of the door/window sensors can be connected to this security alarm kit?
As many as you want
@@TechinfluenceTV Ok cool... Thanks for the response.
can you schedule the alarm that automaticallly turns on at night and turns off in the morning?

Odlično, kupit ću ovo
Thanks. Useful.
Can I use with HomeKit or home assistant?
Yes both google assistant and HomeKit works with this system.
Tää setti toimii kuin junan vessa 😊
Where is the product and its software/hardware made?
China
If you open a door or a window is there a way to have an audible alert? Ie .. “front door”

As long as it notifies my phone which it does. That is all I need.
External siren on the way , so I believe
@@drtomoyah8805I hope so. I was thinking about wiring in an additional siren myself.
External siren box available, and if someone is hell bent on entering a house, they just gonna go ahead and do it, alarm or no alarm
not a single word about the siren that supposed to be loud...
