Please check this link page number 11 www.unodc.org/documents/scientific/validation_E.pdf There are also many guidelines saying the same thing. But for if you don’t have reference what to do that will need a lecture to explain
thanks Dr mahmoud, for your efforts and congratulations for Phd. but can you specify a guideline with precision limits of about 20%, or any other limits in any guideline ? i searched for that limit in eurachem 2014 but i didn't fine any thing
I analyse Aflatoxins in the lab, and I have an old PT (around 50 g as amount), how this amount can be sufficient for 10 replicates, knowing that when I bought the PT sample it was 100 g and I need 25 g as a test sample for the analysis of Aflatoxins. And the same question for CRM, when I wanted to buy a CRM, I found that the packaging only contain 100g, so how can I use this amount for 10 replicates (25g x 10 = 250g, which mean that I need to buy 3 CRMs, it will cost me a lot)
Simple, you don’t need to weight 25gm it’s too much. you can use only 5gm in case of aflatoxins and reduce the extraction solvent to give you the same dilution factor. As ex. If your dilution factor is = 4. So, you will add 5gm sample and 10ml extraction solvent and that will give you the same like if you add 25gm sample to 100ml extraction solvent
@@AccreditedLaboratory Thank you so much, I had this idea but I need it someone to confirm it to me hhh, and please for the acceptance criteria of 20%, do you think it's applicable also for the aflatoxins? because I do not know from I can have the guidnance to seek for it.

Congratulations. I'm a metrology engineer from algeria.your videos are really helpfull.
Thank you so much brother

Also that depends on the matrix effect. If there is a high matrix effect, it will be higher

Which 20%, do you mean relative standard deviation
Yes it’s < 20% in case of aflatoxins
